4 young children stabbed in Annecy

I'm absolutely shocked and sickened at this attack on these helpless babies.

I can't imagine what the mother/minder of the baby who was stabbed multiple times in their pushchair is feeling and I so hope the two babies who are critical pull through.

Just awful :( :(

Reading these kinds of stories really affect me. I have a 3.5 yr old and a 18month old and I just want to scoop them up and protect them forever.

It could only have been people on this thread I was referring to if they were being racist.

Of course the Daily Mail are stressing it that he was a Syrian asylum seeker.

As if there aren't any white people who commit horrific violence against children...oh wait.

I think she was also not born in The UK, I dint remember many comments on that.

I'd actually typed this statement in my response - except I wrote 'so he'd rather be in a French prison than a free man in Syria' - but deleted it as I didn't know the fact about his life in Syria.

Also, I've heard of people commiting crimes to go to (insert country's) prison rather than back to their own country but it's only ever been 'petty' to 'moderate' crimes that involves no physical harm. Never heard of going on a murder rampage. He's lucky the death penalty isn't awaiting him for this.

Yep. There’s a correlation between refugee status and bad mental health.

If bad mental health leads to attacks such as this, we need to consider our refugee policy.

We have to remember that like physical health, mental health has different illnesses and degrees of illnesses. We need to know the 'mental health' illness we're referring to and they need assessments/mental checkups (like physical) to ascertain/diagnose.

Of your quotes, I think Acts is the only book with any relevance to Jesus, what with the rest being Old Testament; and your Acts verse quite clearly states it’s evil to cause children to die. Nothing about stabbing up a bunch of toddlers and a couple of innocent old men is Christian, there’s no point trying to justify it, we see you.

People are complaining on Twitter that the videos being posted are then being deleted as if it's some sort of MSM conspiracy and not because babies are being attacked.

I just checked again and this was the update from the BBC

All the children are in hospital, but local officials have told the BBC that they are in a stable condition.

Such a relief to read the babies are all stable.

I don't know if any videos should be shown, even on the news. It's very insensitive to the victims, and it's not entertainment.
