4 young children stabbed in Annecy

I looked for a thread on this but couldn't see one.

I'm absolutely shocked and sickened at this attack on these helpless babies.

I can't imagine what the mother/minder of the baby who was stabbed multiple times in their pushchair is feeling and I so hope the two babies who are critical pull through.

Just awful :( :(

Reading these kinds of stories really affect me. I have a 3.5 yr old and a 18month old and I just want to scoop them up and protect them forever.

@Hoppinggreen I haven't read any of those things you mention so I genuinely have no idea whether he is or not. But if he is then he certainly isn't following Jesus teachings.

I don't expect anyone who kills in the name of Jesus does 🙄

@BodegaSushi Why the eye roll? Some people may not know anything about the Christian religion so I don't think it hurts to explain that.

I sat and sobbed. Honestly I don’t know what Jesus Christ he prays to but the one I pray to wouldn’t want innocent babies or any one for matter. I’ll keep it zipped now because I can think what I like but I probably can’t say what I like

You are very very wrong, I utterly condemn all of these acts and my sympathy is reserved for the victims. A family member was personally affected by the Manchester bombing so it’s quite offensive that you think I just shrug at it.
What I hate is the glee that some people exhibit when finding out the perpetrator/s is not white and the racist rhetoric that follows.

You hate people noticing that the perpetrators of these crimes share a common motive.

Interestingly, in the inquest it in to the Manchester bombings the security guard being afraid of being accused of being racist was one of the factors that led to the bombing. But I’m sure you would have applauded his lack of racism, as isn’t that more important then protecting people, in your world view.

The attacker is being held on attempted murder charges.

What common motive did the Manchester arena bomber share with this attacker?

Just read some of the interview with the guy who chased him, also christian.
As he say , it's not god but something else in him.

Erm I think many posters on this thread are completely ignorant of the fact that Chistianity was founded in the Middle East 😬 and yes (shock!) the region has some of the oldest Christian families on Earth.

Another shock may be that not all Christians are white (including Jesus)

So sad. If the attacker was hearing voices it sounds like his mental health care was completely inadequate, and quite likely this is what caused the attack. I feel so sad about the Nottingham attack, and this attack in Annecy as well.

Oh there was a comment that's been deleted that said, and I'm paraphrasing to eliminate the actual racist shit, that those aren't 'real' Christians.

@Florissante Yes, it doesn't seem like he should have been managing his own medication, but I suppose more information will come out.
