"Brenton Tarrant has been remanded to the High Court for the April 5, when he will face charges as the result of the current investigation. He currently faces one charge of murder but is likely to face more.
Bush is joined by representatives from the agencies working on the ground including: Victim's Support, City Council, Civil Defence, Fire and Emergency, and the Defence Force.
Bush says the intervention of the public during the attack may well have saved further lives. He thanked them for their bravery.
Bush notes that the ramming-car arrest of Tarrant was "non-compliant" and officers put themselves in danger given the IEDs on the car. He has thanked all officers involved for their bravery.
Bush says the two people arrested but not yet charged were arrested at a cordon. Bush said police were still working to ascertain whether there was any connection between this "couple" and the attack.
Another member of the public near the scene with a firearm has been released.
Police representatives responded to criticism concerning the timing of the police response. Bush said the arrest took 36 minutes from the first emergency call"
