UKIP on 20% and a chicken on the loose in the House. They're desperate!

"Labour has a five-point lead over the Conservatives in the latest Opinium/Observer poll, which shows that half of voters think the prime minister is looking for excuses not to take part in live television debates ahead of the 7 May general election."

www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/jan/17/labour-takes-lead-conservatives-cameron-opinium-poll

Why don't the pollsters ask the question that the public asks themselves - Would an empty chair perform better than Cameron in the TV debates?

The Establishment promoted Russell Brand to try and stop the people and their party - UKIP. Now we hear that Cameron's sixth cousin, Oxbridge graduate, Alastair James Hay Murray, who "is in remainder both to English and Scottish peerage titles, including the barony of Strange and the dukedom of Atholl" and plays the role of "The Pub Landlord" is standing against the People's Politician, Nigel Farage.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Murray

They're desperate. Will they ask Laurel and Hardy to stand aginst the People's Party next? Oh wait, they've already got Cameron and Clegg.

I can only go on my own experience
I know so many pensioners who are very very well off - I don't begrudge them this btw - but who then brag about their increase in state pension and winter fuel payments. Make jokes about spending it on wine and gin.
Not funny.
Not when so many are struggling to keep their heads above water.
And of course, the Tories are playing a blinder with their pensioner pleasing policies.
Got to hand Georgie boy that one.

claig · 25/01/2015 10:25

People are being conned, spun, lied to, fooled and tricked by the Establishment and their media mates. If there is any opposition to them, then the opposition is smeared and mocked by their "comedians" and media mates. That is how they stop the people and their parties effecting real change that will improve the lives of ordinary people and that is how they perpetuate privilege and sustain the system.

No tricks are beneath them. They will fight a dirty election. They will distort, smear, trick and lie. Why? Because they are desperate!

OP posts:

'I know so many pensioners who are very very well off'

There are millions more who aren't. People who worry about our NHS and what treatement they will receive if they fall ill, who worry what drugs they will be entitled to if they are in the wrong postcode, people who die of hypothermia because they fear escalating fuel bills.

Labour brought in universal benefits on fuel payments and it is a good thing, because there are millions of old people without relatives, who may suffer dementia, who struggle reading and filling out complicated government forms and don't understand what they are entitled to after working their entire lives. Now they recieve fuel payments at least and the benefits do not remain unclaimed. But still thousands die of hypothermia every year because they are struggling to make ends meet.

End the scandals, end the scams, put people first, Don't believe the Establishment spinners' lies. There is a better future. Vote for the people, not for the Establishment.

They are laughing at the people and their "comedians" are laughing at the people. They think we are stupid. They think we will fall for their tricks as they roll out their Sunday headlines about the People's Party and its "gaffes". They are delighted the more gaffes are reported. Why? Because they are desperate!

Will you please stop capitalising random words. It's irritating, and UKIP are most definitely not the peoples party. I am a person and they don't represent what I believe in (equality, free health service, parity of income).

claig · 25/01/2015 17:33

Then why does even Dan Hodges mention 'the people's party'?

"Whatever happened to Ukip, the 'people's party'?"

Even a Guardian headline states the truth

"Ukip sets sights higher as ‘party of the people’ after byelection game-changer"

www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2014/nov/23/ukip-rochester-byelection-success-game-changer

Even the Economist has written an article analyzing the revolutionary impact of the people's army.

"The people’s army

Can UKIP keep on coming? The answer could decide the next election"

It wouldn't surprise me if Cameron and the Etonians refer to the UKIP insuregncy as that damned people's party known as the people's army in their strategy meetings where teenage advisers form Oxbridge are tasked with coming up with "blue sky" thinking to stop the people.

"And of course, the Tories are playing a blinder with their pensioner pleasing policies."

I think you'll find some of what the Conservatives are trying to do, is make up for Labour's negligence of pensioners.

*From 1997 to 2013, Council Tax alone went up around 110%, did the State pension go up more than that??

And in Private Pensions, including Company Final Salary schemes, Brown screwed them as well, as one of the first things he did (without mentioning it in the 1997 General Election) was to take away the Tax Credit – which has raised about £118 billion, but on a performance basis, is estimated to have taken £250 billion from non State pension pots.

“Revealed: Labour's 'stealth raid' took £118BILLION off pensions, 'paving the way for the end of final salary schemes as they were suddenly unaffordable'”

MuttonCadet · 25/01/2015 17:49

Of course they don't, ffs are you really that dim? The other articles refer to "the peoples party" sarcastically.

I think the danger is that people aren't taking UKIP seriously, in the same way that people in Germany in the 30's didn't take the nazis seriously.

claig · 25/01/2015 17:54

'other articles refer to "the peoples party" sarcastically'

Of course they do, just as the Etonian Conservative hierarchy refer to the people's party sarcastically. They wish to mock the people's party. "Comedians" are promoted to join in the mockery. But it won't save them. Sarcasm cannot defeat the truth.

The people's army has swept all before it in Clacton and Rochester and in their think tanks and ivory towers they are biting their nails fearing it will only get worse for them because now they are facing a party of the people and they know their game is up, their goose is cooked, their fate is sealed.

OP posts:
claig · 25/01/2015 17:57

Why do you think learned media commentators say that Cameron is "frit"? Frit doesn't do justice to how he feels. It is headless chicken mode at Tory HQ because they are facing the people's party and they wish to avoid them in debate. They know it's over, they're hanging on by their fingernails.

OP posts:
MuttonCadet · 25/01/2015 18:02

It's nothing to do with the establishment. (Which doesn't require a capital E). It's honest, hardworking people that disagree with the racist, homophobic nonsense that is spouted by UKIP.

The unfortunate thing is that we are all so scared that we are now voting for who we think is most likely to get in, rather than for who we believe in. I know life long labour supporters voting conservative because UKIP is a serious competitor in the borough.

That should tell you everything you need to know.

I assume you also support the privatisation of the NHS Angry

claig · 25/01/2015 18:05

"Douglas Alexander: ‘Ukip poses a challenge to all parties. I take it very seriously’"

www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/douglas-alexander-ukip-poses-a-challenge-to-all-parties-i-take-it-very-seriously-9205997.html

Everybody is taking UKIP extremely seriously. There are all-night strategy meetings with every free think tank teenager on the block told to attend. they know that the people have had enough and the old, cosy days are over.

OP posts:
MuttonCadet · 25/01/2015 18:08

Will you quit it with "the people", we aren't all the same (thank god), most people disagree with UKIP.

For example we support the health service and believe in equality.

claig · 25/01/2015 18:08

'The unfortunate thing is that we are all so scared that we are now voting for who we think is most likely to get in'

You may be doing that, but the millions of UKIP voters aren't. They are voting for change and for what they believe in, they have had enough.

'I assume you also support the privatisation of the NHS'

No I don't which is why I am voting UKIP.

OP posts:
claig · 25/01/2015 18:12

'Will you quit it with "the people"'

No because even Dan Hodges mentions the "peopl's party". They may do it sarcastically, but the fact that they do it means they feel the need to counter it. UKIP is an anti-establishment people's party. the rest of them call it "anti-politics" and what they mean is that it is any them, anti the Establishment and for the people.

That doesn't mean that all the people agree with UKIP, but it means teh long ignored, mocked, disregarded and let down do agree with UKIP and that is why the Establishment is biting its nails.

OP posts:
MuttonCadet · 25/01/2015 18:12

Actually, I am the voice of the people.

I believe that everyone is equal, regardless of race, sex, colour or religion.
I believe that everyone should have access to free medical services.
I believe that we have an obligation to help those in need.

I know that UKIP are against everything I believe in, I know that most people feel the same as I do.

MuttonCadet · 25/01/2015 18:14

Millions of UKIP voters?

Prove your stats Confused

claig · 25/01/2015 18:17

Well I agree with you, but being a UKIP voter, I go even further than you

'I believe that everyone is equal, regardless of race, sex, colour or religion or class '

'I know that most people feel the same as I do'

If they do then why did UKIP win the biggest landslide in postwar British parliamentary history in Clacton? Why did the people's army trounce the Establishment Conservatives in one of their former safe seats and why did the Establishment Labour Party not even get a look in?

OP posts:
claig · 25/01/2015 18:21

'Prove your stats'

"Ukip vote in European elections no flash in pan according to new poll"
...
The vast majority of the four million people who voted for the UK Independence Party in the European elections will make the same choice at the general election, a new poll predicts today."

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/ukip/10866335/Ukip-vote-in-European-elections-no-flash-in-pan-according-to-new-poll.html

UKIP is olling between 15 and 20% in national polls.
Peter Bone, Tory MP, was on the Sunday Politics East with a Labour MP and he said UKIP are a serious threat and the support on the doorstep is higher than the polls predict and the Labour MP didn't disagree.

They know the truth. They know the people have had enough. There is panic in party headquarters. They are at a loss about what to do to stop the people.
