Does anyone else find this whole wedding an obscene use of money, and who are they anyway? Or is it just me? What an ugly pair, and I don't mean looks.

Kanye constantly looks like a petulant teenager, Kim constantly looks vacant. Can't stand either of them. But yes, they are both equally obscene in their extravagance, with this wedding just massively OTT. Vomit inducing.

Kim looks awful in the photos I've seen sidebar of shame. She needs to sack her make up artist as it looks like she's been one the subbed with a skiing mask on .. And that dress!

They have a lot of money, they like to spend that money. How is that an issue? I'm assuming most people with vast amounts of money do the same.

I guess I would like to hear that they may be doing something that might relieve some of the suffering in the world. There seems to be no awareness other than their own egos. But what do I know, they may have sold all their privacy to the media.

Oh give over. You have no idea about any charity work they do because the press chose not to report it. It isn't exciting enough.

Kanye is actually very active in charity work, has a foundation aimed at reducing school drop out rates and does work for oxfam, docs without borders and new York food banks to name a few.

Can't say as much for her but I do remember reading stuff about work for victims of hurricane Katrina.

Any of that make their personal choices more palatable?

£11m on one wedding is obscene. I couldn't give a shit about how 'charitable' that pair of ego maniacs tell the world they are. I don't feel the need to adjust my view that spending £11m on one wedding, no matter how wealthy you are, is obscene.

But surely starting a thread about them only feeds the beast. If you want people like them to go away you have to not talk about them, and encourage others to do the same.

Why should anyone justify the amount they spend on anything? It's their own money. If they choose to built a giant bonfire and burn the lot they still wouldn't have to justify it.

All the money they've spent on their wedding, on caterers, wine and clothes has been pumped back into the economy, think of all the sales taxes they've paid. I'd rather they spent their money than just looked at their bank statements. Goodness knows what they paid to rent Versailles yesterday but it will be more than the French Govt would have received from entry tickets.

I feel sorry for their little girl, I just don't think the marriage will last.

They wont divorce until they've had one of those re-commitment ceremonies. It'll probly start in low orbit with about a thousand guests, and continue on a specially built island in the Emirates that looks like a giant K from above which all thousand guests will parachute down to. The Wests will land carried along by unicorns, which are actually cows but have all undergone heavy contouring sessions.

It'll be well tasteful, and very good value for money.
