For all of you who don't understand the disgust with the Daily Mail...

I have just been told they have published an article about John Hemming in which they name me. Both my real name and my user name.

Luckily for me I don't care. Luckily for me I decided long ago I would never put anything on line that I would be ashamed/upset/frightened for anyone else to read.

But for lots of people this would be a complete and utter disaster. People post really personal and sensitive stuff on this site about the worst times of their lives, looking for help and support. They must know that.

Note that they never bothered contacting me to find out which category I fell into.

So if anyone wants to start another wide eyed innocent thread - o I just don't understand why you all hate the Daily Mail so much!

Does this kind of thing help you understand a little more?

I will link to the scum bags but only because I hope people might leave some 'helpful' comments about JH.

I think I'm going to turn in now with RKS. Sadly dd2 is not coping well with being alone at nights, so I'm going to kip on her floor with only the fat and thin lesbians to keep me warm. I don't know how the social workers keep up all this frenetic ladylove action, but I reckon sexual orientation is never more irrelevant than when you have young children...

Lilka · 05/01/2014 00:28

Night Devora Smile

nenny yes it just means 'against the wishes of the parents'

Yes, IJ believes that all adoption against the parents wishes is wrong, no matter what the circumstances. So IJ would think Baby P being forcibly adopted would be a bad thing indeed

MadameDefarge · 05/01/2014 00:34

Another 20. thats the first 200 done.

Lilka · 05/01/2014 00:46

And I'm done

That was the most sad horrid ending to a book ever (they sexually assualted and murdered the social worker)

The rest of it was very funny. Apart from all the conversations about various politicians, Christopher Booker's articles, and muslim paedophiles (I have no clue why muslim paedophiles grooming children played such a role in this book, literally no clue. It's like calling us 'fucking gays' isn't enough so we must add in some good old fashioned Islamophobia as well

Night all

MadameDefarge · 05/01/2014 00:48

night lilka.

DoubleLifeIsALifeOfSorts · 05/01/2014 05:34

I'm not only fully supportive of Spero, but I'm on tenter hooks needing to know how the FILO turned out... Is it stuffed with the dead gay fat thin social workers? And will it be served with champagne?

PacificDogwood · 05/01/2014 09:09

Well, I see it got worse after I, as a sensible, middle-aged, heterosexual, married mother of young children, went to bet.

I fear RKS may approve of me Shock - can I blame my mother for that??

I need Brew.

MadameDefarge · 05/01/2014 09:10

what were you betting on, Pacific?

PacificDogwood · 05/01/2014 09:18
Blush

I bet on the fat and the thin social worker snatching more (blonds and blue-eyed) children and selling them to the highest middle-class bitter. From the proceeds they eloped together and lived happily everafter on Lesbos. Eating ripe figs. And making sweet, sweet lade-love from dusk to dawn. And sometimes even during the day, because those are the wanton, immoral kind of lesbians they were.

The End.

'Tis all 'based on fact'.

You know, like that l'Oreal cream 'Youth Code' is 'based on genetic research'.

No fact/genetic research has been harmed in the making of this book/cream.

It's not like I shout at the TV when that add used to come on, oh no...

Whatfun · 05/01/2014 09:44

I am so angry at this I have had to de lurk.

I am a social worker. I am not a fat lesbian and I can prove it.

My statistics are 36,26,36, I am 5 ft 8inches tall and am a gorgeous size 10 (winks seductively at JH). I am always beautifully dressed in very sexy clothes and wear 5 inch heels to work even though they are very difficult to walk in. It's worth it though, I wouldn't wish to be thought of as being a lesbian would I? I never wear those vile doc martens, and wouldn't be seen dead in dangly earrings or a cardigan.

I love men so much that I won't even share an office with a woman. Let's face it all my colleagues are lesbians and would spend all day trying to get in my knickers. They should be concentrating on their work. They need to go and snatch some babies so that we can meet our targets and I can just sit and quietly file my nails in peace

Lesbian, my arse!

CarpeVinum · 05/01/2014 09:46

Where did Edward go ?

S'like that confused, deathblow! by leg shagging sheep when I asked her on twitter "Are you or have you ever been employed by John Hemming in any shape or form ?"

PacificDogwood · 05/01/2014 09:49

Oh, pertinent question, Carpe. No answer, no? Quelle surprise...

Whatfun, I think you are a hairy handed one - no way can you be a SW by your description. Tsk.

PacificDogwood · 05/01/2014 09:50

Rereading my penultimate and previous post, I clearly have a problem with Ds and Ts today. Soz.

CarpeVinum · 05/01/2014 10:20

Pacific

Not a question I had thought of asking myself. But.... seems her tirade against me using a local non political focus group's twitter account caused deep ire amoung her followers, who then appear to have chatted amoungst themselves off line and subsequantly flocked to my DM inbox. DM being highly technical twitter term for PM. I have no idea what the D stands for.

CarpeVinum · 05/01/2014 10:20

Pacific

Welcome to my world !

Spero · 05/01/2014 10:24

Lilka that is horrible.

We laugh at these men and I think that is a good thing - as George Orwell said, the reason that the English may have escaped the rise of right wing fascism that over took other European countries, is because if anyone tried doing absurd Nazi salutes and marching everywhere, the English would laugh at them.

BUT that book is an interesting albeit very depressing insight into their mindset - the evil lesbians who dare to interfere with their right to control their families are murdered and sexually assaulted.

Women know your place.

Oh dear God.

That was one peek into the mind of the man that is most ..... revealing.

Confirm what we suspected about the prevelant mindset.

PacificDogwood · 05/01/2014 10:34

OMG, that is how the book actually ends? Shock

I'd blithely assumed that Lilka had made it up for dramatic effect!
That's cold...

AthelstaneTheUnready · 05/01/2014 10:37

A possible reason for lack of action by LibDems (apart from needing every seat regardless of 'quality') is donations. I haven't looked properly but the LibDem donation sheet appears to have regular, large donations from Mr John Hemming. I haven't looked for above-board (or otherwise) donations made through his companies. Given his lack of respect for legal procedure there may be other amounts given at arms-length, so the individually-named donations may not be the full story.

AthelstaneTheUnready · 05/01/2014 10:41

Sorry, barged right through the book discussion Blush. Just wondered if the Parliamentary Commissioner for standards is only interested in financial probity (or otherwise), whether there is any further financial improbity to be found.

WestmorlandSausage · 05/01/2014 10:43

oooh Athelstane that adds a whole new dimension to our concerns thank you for that. It was something we all suspected but didn't really know how to go about looking for the information.

Spero · 05/01/2014 10:47

Athelstane - there were a number of quite serious investigations into his financial dealings, particularly after he bought a flat in Covent Garden on a mortgage which he claimed on expenses then paid cash for the house into which he moved Mistress #27 and her late lamented kitten...

But he was exonerated from any wrong doing by the general inquiry into MP's abuse of expenses.

However, given that there has been apparently no serious press investigation of his activities since 2007/8 with the Guardian's Comment is Free piece, I can only assume that he is considered valuable in some way by those in a position to do something about him.

No doubt frequent high level donations to the Lib Dem party will be considered very valuable by them. I can't imagine they get many of them.

they certainly won't be getting any from me unless Duncan Hames can deal very promptly and impressively with my complaint.

The quagmire just gets deeper and deeper, doesn't it? Sad

Sometimes the failings of democracy are quite dispiriting tbh.

Spero · 05/01/2014 10:57

'Look for the money' is usually the most sensible advice.

It explains why JH is so desperate to link care proceedings with cash bounties. presumably that is a reflection of his mindset and what motivates him, ergo it must motivate others.
