For all of you who don't understand the disgust with the Daily Mail...

I have just been told they have published an article about John Hemming in which they name me. Both my real name and my user name.

Luckily for me I don't care. Luckily for me I decided long ago I would never put anything on line that I would be ashamed/upset/frightened for anyone else to read.

But for lots of people this would be a complete and utter disaster. People post really personal and sensitive stuff on this site about the worst times of their lives, looking for help and support. They must know that.

Note that they never bothered contacting me to find out which category I fell into.

So if anyone wants to start another wide eyed innocent thread - o I just don't understand why you all hate the Daily Mail so much!

Does this kind of thing help you understand a little more?

I will link to the scum bags but only because I hope people might leave some 'helpful' comments about JH.

I wondered why it was all so quiet!

Pretty decent of you to take the heat for me Carpe.

BoreOfWhabylon · 03/01/2014 22:28

I think the one hounding Carpe on Twitter (Acocks Green?) is the same one who was sounding off on the re-stirred forum. The thread seems to have been taken down now though.

This is tangentially interesting, I thought.

Nondescriptsuburbanhousewife · 03/01/2014 22:35

I mostly lurk, but feel compelled to say fucking hell this is appalling. Also, thanks to Spero, Carpe et al for your sticking with this for so long.

My MP is a Tory who wouldn't give a fuck, and I'm not a member of the Lib Dem party. Is there any person or body with whom I can register my strong feelings that an MP should not be breaking the law, bullying and so forth?

Sorry if I should RTFT better, but please could someone suggest an avenue for my disgruntlement?

Others are quite keen on the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards. I found them very much the chocolate teapot when I contacted them in 2012 but you may have better luck.

There is also the Information Commissioner. I have already emailed a complaint but I don't see any harm in encouraging momentum.

It is Bore

Has the whole theead gone ?

Oh well, i made some nice comments, but I don't blame them. She defamed me well good.

Why is she daft enough to anti-me tweet in her profesional twitter account ? Has she not noticed her followers getting all, pissed off ?

I actually enjoyed that. Got my needed daily light relief. Tonights TAIL derail no longer required.

MadameDefarge · 03/01/2014 22:48

who is the whip for the LibDems?

Nondescriptsuburbanhousewife · 03/01/2014 22:51

Thank you.

Looks like the Parliamentary Commissioner is a new person since 2012, so may be worth a punt. From a quick look, sharing legally protected information breaches the Code of Conduct many times over. Although if the current Commissioner also interprets her remit as financial improbity only, then, yes, chocolate teapot.

CarpeVinum · 03/01/2014 23:03

OMg her followers are retweeting me, following me and saying how they had no idea she was "political"

This is a farce ... not of my making.

And for the last time I did not come to italy in 1989. Please somebody tell me they believe me Grin

Sorry sorry, derail I know.

But it is funny. And I need funny.

Or I end the day all gloomy and deflated feeling like the higher we climb the bigger the mountian gets. and I don't wan tto go to bed like that.

LakeDistrictBabe · 03/01/2014 23:06

Mmmm... AcocksGreen started to follow some of us on twitter... Well, as Russell Crowe said recently 'tick tick block block all the abusive tweeps' (I put that nicely), so dear Acocks insulting our lovely Carpe you are blocked. Bye bye ;)

MadameDefarge · 03/01/2014 23:09

well done you

CarpeVinum · 03/01/2014 23:10

I hope to God there aren't more of you that share my first name. She is having a hard enough time keeping us stright as it is. Grin

Oh well, good way to pick up more followers. I've got some of hers already and they seem friendly enough to me. Bit shocked at her though.

ohhh, I could shove the sysnopsis link in that convo just when it picks up again in the morning.Grin

CarpeVinum · 04/01/2014 00:18

MadameDefarge · 04/01/2014 00:48

right I have four hundred filo pastry canapes to make for a friends nephews wedding on sunday. so tomorrow will be full of fiddly folding with filo.

I must sleep

borninastorm · 04/01/2014 01:08

This may have already been suggested but I've only managed to get to p7 of the thread so far -

Would it be worth it to start a Change petition asking for people to sign to have him suitably penalised for his abuse of power and perhaps asking that he not be allowed to be a 'spokesperson' for vulnerable women and children? Or for other reasons Spero et al feel more suitable?

These petitions seem to be a pretty good way of getting more positive press attention and they some of them seem to be pretty successful.

CarpeVinum · 04/01/2014 01:37

Conld somebosy word something up for a change petition, ai wpuld... but

and ai have been sadly outed as Non Italy living, Evil cunning Genius Labour Mole who has singlehandedly beought Hemming down with my craftiness and massive army of 100ish twitter followers after ai learned to use it last week. All while sending the screen shots of the children's name to every blogger in exisitance.

Or something like that. It is quite hard to follow "deeply wound up" lady on twitter.

Which cat should pick for my Evil Genious piccie ?

Decsions decsions.

Tis hard this taking over the universe lark.
