Child taken from womb? Truth into darkness....

Ok, the old thread is nearly full. If you read the other three, I don't need to re-write everything again ;)

But you know I am referring to the case involving an Italian mother and the British social services.
Opinions welcome.

Right about what?

MadameDefarge · 20/12/2013 22:28

John. You are posting on a public website using your own name, citing parliamentary privilige when it takes your fancy,

and you are pissed???

LakeDistrictBabe · 20/12/2013 22:29

johnhemming

I can't believe you're knee deep in your ignorance and even in a field you don't know a flying thing about, you try to show off.

I don't follow papers and legislative bubble because THAT FOR ME IS NOT ENOUGH EVIDENCE to apply a reference or a bibliography to any proper research I will ever do

Did I explain myself clearly this time?

OP posts:
LakeDistrictBabe · 20/12/2013 22:31

@Spero I think his posts were always embarrassing, even when he stated to be sober.

Maybe he is eternally drunk.

OP posts:
CarpeVinum · 20/12/2013 22:32

I am not sober, but I am right.

John, just let me know if you need a new spade. That one must be getting a bit worn by now.

CarpeVinum · 20/12/2013 22:35

Who is on screen shot duty tonight ?

We are going to get deleted under the "post pub MP "driving" a mumsnet account whilst under the influence".

Spero · 20/12/2013 22:36

OK.

So If I get a blah blah response from Duncan Hames and Tim Farron, to add to the silence from Clegg then what I now know is

  1. The LibDems are perfectly fine with one of their own appearing on websites such as this, declaring and relying on their status as MP when it suits to give gravitas to their 'argument'.
  2. The LibDEms are perfectly fine with one of their own breaching a court order and identifying a vulnerable child on the internet
  3. The LibDems are perfectly fine with one of their own now admitting to goading and trolling on a website whilst drunk.

O my. I have often moaned about the debasement of current political culture, but I did not think I would get to witness it in real time on my screen.

LakeDistrictBabe · 20/12/2013 22:38

I have laptop under update so no screen shots tonight.
I have nearly 1 GB of stuff, I guess that would have been enough even for Berlusconi....

johnhemming · 20/12/2013 22:42

So we are now arguing about whether or not Middle Earth is based upon Birmingham locations and whether or not the bill of rights was in 1688.

Both are a bit off topic. However, both are statements of fact which have strong evidential bases.

LakeDistrictBabe · 20/12/2013 22:43

@Spero

I wouldn't be surprised about the LibDems letting him do whatever he likes.

What I would be surprised if 'someone else' let him get away with it. Not sure about that point.

All politicians are expendable.

OP posts:
MadameDefarge · 20/12/2013 22:45

I have faith the LibDem leadership will take a firm stance on this.

CarpeVinum · 20/12/2013 22:45

All politicians are expendable.

No party currently holding a bellweather seat would want a byelection anytime around now.

johnhemming · 20/12/2013 22:45

Nighty night folks.

CarpeVinum · 20/12/2013 22:47

John. Drink lots of water before you go up.

LakeDistrictBabe · 20/12/2013 22:48

johnhemming

In this case, I dare to say that I'm 500% sure you are lying.

Don't ask me to send the evidence to you though because I am not sending you books that are worth thousands of pounds to win an argument with someone I consider culturally inferior to me and surely less intelligent too.

I am only appalled that some constituents voted you. Maybe you are bringing lots of mince pies to the whole of Birmingham.

OP posts:
DrankSangriaInThePark · 20/12/2013 22:50

I am on a wind up kindle fire as internet is on blink (hence my absence from thread since 're-entering uk airspace) but dear christ what he's saying tonight is scarier than anything on any of other threads in its sheer cringe-Ness. He actually thinks he's funny. Jesus.

CarpeVinum · 20/12/2013 22:53

I think he drank too much sangria Drank

Or beer.

Golddigger · 20/12/2013 22:55

I have only got time to pop in occasionally.

johnhemming "Oddly enough it is those people who sent copies of my mistake to various people....

Are you now willing to say sorry for your mistake?

WestmorlandSausage · 20/12/2013 22:56

I'm a little concerned there doesn't appear to be any Brownie groups that meet on a Friday night within walking distance of the pub John claims he has been at tonight. There are one or two within driving distance however?

Perhaps someone with more local knowledge could confirm? I would be really happy to be corrected considering the potential implications?

LakeDistrictBabe · 20/12/2013 22:57

@Drank yep, I don't even know if cringeworthy is enough to describe what he says.

He lives in such a bubble that I am pretty sure that it will come up with other absurd stories.

I wonder if he is just trying to make a fool of us with crap... In order to make us forget he broke the law. As if that was possible.

OP posts:
LakeDistrictBabe · 20/12/2013 22:59

west

Confuseddotcom should be one of his constituents. Maybe she is local too.

Never been to Birmingham. Although not sure he is saying the truth about the pub. We can't take him seriously about anything at this point ;)

OP posts:
MadameDefarge · 20/12/2013 23:00

I do so hope he has not been drink driving with his little daughter in the car.

Not even John could be so foolhardly.

Golddigger · 20/12/2013 23:01

There is something else I dont understand. Again!

Is johnhemming saying that there are adoption targets because he is merely talking about the targets that do exist purely when children are already in care, and there are then targets to try and get children from long term fostering into adoption?
[assuming I myself have got that correctly. Havnet got time to read several threads. Well I have, but I will have about finished by the New Year].

BoreOfWhabylon · 20/12/2013 23:02

Was it another of your 'mistakes' to publish Spero's name John?

MadameDefarge · 20/12/2013 23:02

I think John is saying that when an LA runs out of adoptable children they take more into care so as to keep fulfiling adoption targets to get bonuses.

I think.
