He is weird isnt he? I dont know what to think. I really dont.

Davros · 18/11/2003 23:10

They're probably trying to find the painting he's hidden of a cute little black boy

anais · 18/11/2003 23:13

here we go again...

Angeliz · 18/11/2003 23:14

can't stand him since the baby dangling, in my opinion that child should have been removed! (and the others!)

He is a freak. Take him to the edge of the village and stone him. Sorry, but that is the way I feel

Northerner · 19/11/2003 12:12

One of his friends was on GMTV this morning saying there is no truth in the allegations. His friend seemed a pretty normal chap with kids of his own and they go and stay at Michael's ranch. I agree that wacko is odd, but not sure if he would molest kids. Wouldn't let any of my kids go to his ranch ever!

It'll be really interesting I think in about 20 years time when his kids will be adults to see how they turn out and to hear what they say about their unconventional upbringing.

salt · 19/11/2003 12:12

I really don't know what to think about him, I'm with Angeliz about the baby dangling though - nobody else would be allowed toget away with it.

Norma · 19/11/2003 12:12

Bloody Hell Suzy!
That's a bit discriminatory.
Would you stone all freaks?
What exactly constitutes a freak?

suzywong · 19/11/2003 12:40

OK OK I was being slightly inflammatory, Norma. But and part of me feels a little bit sorry for him (did you seehis Dad on Louis Theroux?) but if he was a man in the normal world he would have been taken to one side and advised on the correct way to behave long ago. I suppose it is very sad for everyone concerned that no one gives him normal down to earth advice like 'Michael, you nutter, what do you think you are playing at about ..... insert incident of your choice.
And no, I think some freaks cna be very entertaining and have a place in a reputable side-show.

katierocket · 19/11/2003 12:53

right, where's the fight?

SoupDragon · 19/11/2003 12:56

Does this mean I should decline his offer of babysitting?

Norma · 19/11/2003 12:58

Yeah, Gary Glitter would probably be a safer bet!

oliveoil · 19/11/2003 12:59

There was a pic of him in Heat (highbrow reader alert) and his hairline has to be seen to be believed. He looks like an Action Man doll.

aloha · 19/11/2003 14:09

Well, my views on MJ have been aired before. I have absolutely no doubt that he's up to no good. It's not right, it's not normal, and I wouldn't have him in my sideshow...

WSM · 19/11/2003 14:12

The bloke has had such as bizarre upbringing and adult life that it is impossible to know what to believe about him. That said I would NEVER ever leave any of my children with him.

M2T · 19/11/2003 14:17

I think it's just sick people jumping on the band wagon coz they know that they will get a hefty out-of-court settlement!
Of course with all the previous bad press (again I think it's all rubbish) everyone will believe a child over MJ, so why not try your luck!

Fair enough, he's not normal..... doesn't make him a paedophile.

aloha · 19/11/2003 14:27

Doesn't NOT make him a paedophile either. And I'd say ALL the evidence is against him. If you heard that a 40something bloke in your street was sleeping with boys, I bet you wouldn't give him the benefit of the doubt.

Nope - I think he is mentally a big kid.

aloha · 19/11/2003 14:45

Bu that's EXACTLY how lots of paedophiles describe themelves. Most particularly the ones strongly attracted to boys on the cusp of puberty - ie aged around 12...

I'm absolutely amazed that he is given the benefit of the doubt when no ordinary person would be.

suzywong · 19/11/2003 14:46

Aloha I agree with you. and I like to listen to David Bowie when I'm drunk too (just read your other message on the other thread and am considering stalking you)

And to add a more balanced view and take the heat of Mr J, the parents of these kids he dallies with are a sandwich chort of a picninc too. If someone suggested that your son comes over to their house for a slumer party and a bit of horseplay and that someone is a grown man wouldn't you be suspicious? No parent in their right mind would sancition men and boyus sharing a bed no matter how rich they were.

nerdgirl · 19/11/2003 14:48

Have to agree with M2T. I think he's a looper but an asexual looper. I think he's been trying to create a childhood for himself all these years. Very strange guy but not intentionally dangerous IMO

M2T · 19/11/2003 14:55

Tha fact is he ISN'T normal! And I'm not talking about him describing himslef as a big kid.... he quite clearly is not mentally older than about 12!

bundle · 19/11/2003 15:00

agree with jonathan ross on this one, that MJ is ill and needs help. being surrounded by 'yes' people has probably made things worse for him too.
