Her appeal is being heard at the moment, and there is a good chance she'll be freed.
So who did kill Meredith?
If she and her ex boyfriend are deemed innocent, I hope the Italian police will continue to look into the case and get some justice for her.
I don't understand why they say the DNA is flawed, or have Knox's parents just managed to hire some very smart lawyers?
It's such a sad case.

said, I honestly don't know, but recently, during live special shows, the body of a missing teenager has been found (her mother learning about it whilst being interviewed for the programme) the cousin of said girl being arrested for her murder half way through another episode of the same live show...etc etc. So who knows.

I don't think it's anything to do with the US airtime though. Italy is quite interested in this too!

I didn't even realise the boyfriend was appealing too. Why is everyone so interested in Amanda Knox? Makes me sick how the media and public are always interested in 'attractive' young girls. Nobody else matters.

I put 'attractive' because I actually think she's plain and don't understand this fuss.

I posted something similar in the thread in chat but wanted to say here too. I will have to bow out if they are not aquitted, no time or energy to argue with people why this whole trial is a farce. It's been interesting talking to you all about this, even those who I disagree with.

I really am hoping justice is done for all concerned.

I must say that I'm really glad that she's won her appeal. I was never convinced that she or RS were guilty.

The poor Kercher family, their daughter dead and seemingly nobody responsible for it. I hope this verdict was correct I really do because the alternative doesn't bear thinking about.

My thoughts go to merideth kercher's family - they have no closure and confirmation of who killed their daughter.
