Morning all .

Congratulations Great Aunt Ruby . I wish someone would have a baby in our family. I don't think there will be anymore babies until mine start reproducing .

Had a busy day yest. DS to swimming lesson, DD to party then we all went to friends world cup party, which was great (the men and boys played football in the lane, the girls painted each others nails and the ladies lolled about on deck chairs drinking wine ).

Not much planned for today. Ironing .

wendyhappysmile · 13/06/2010 10:45

Congrats Ruby That's very exciting! And I am going to be a mum again when I'm 36 and your sis 37 and a grandma! What a funny old world.
All is well here, am feeling quite serene lately despite tired (and thus feeling sick, which is what comes with feeling tired). DC being lovely this week, DS suddenly has very good manners and is very lovely! (prob not next week!)
Sorry been absent - lots been going on round here - can't reply to all, will try to be on more often next week!
BB soon

I have just come back from Legoland!
It is only a trainjourney from our house, I now see so not rocket science to do it again some day without staying in a hotel, but the children are over the moon with their 24 hours pamper experience - ds1 keeps repeating " buffet buffet buffet" and dd keeps repeating "clean white towels and free soap" and also "mini-bar" (although that was banned)

dh stayed at home, he finds hotels terribly dull, and Legoland a horror to be avoided at all costs.

It was lovely, I did lose them a few times tis true, and a bit expensive if you didn't bring a picnic, but they were entranced by the Lego mini-land, and the white water rides. I think we need to go back, now I am feeling more confident to do it singlehandedly.

Ruby that's exciting! Lucky girlfried of nephew she will gets lots of love and attention.

swanriver · 13/06/2010 21:17

not fried girl of course

All watching football now - and I'd forgotten the homework
house exactly as I left it

Evening all

Hope you are all well - been to Leeds today for bra fitting gone down a back size so happy.

Had a Mcdonalds but kept within points with exercise so happy about that too. DD went to swimming lesson this evening and DH dropped me off at the gym on the way - managed an hour and half at gym including 2 x 5 minute runs (well more jogging but even so) my furthest yet.

No housework done though

Busy day tomorrow - have the last of my house of colour sessions - this one on make-up and then reading volunteer in afternoon - tuesday i'm on a school trip all day so I can see some busy cleaning evenings this week.

Hope you are all well - good luck in Manchester tomorrow OFM hope everything goes quickly and smoothly. Dyls your evening sounds fab. Ruby hope you feel better soon - get plenty of rest.

DD stayed at last minute party yesterday from 11.30 - 8.30 so she is wacked today and still not asleep

back tomorrow

dylsmum1998 · 13/06/2010 21:53

OFM good luck tomorrow.

Swan glad you had a god time, legoland is fab isn't it, mine are still asking to go back

MC wel done with all the gym and dietin you are doing

Have done a few odd jobs today,
tidy
hoover
wash up
dinner
iron x2
load/unload washer
washing away
collect ds from his dads
weeded front and back garden again
went to b&q and bought wood to make extra shelf in tall kitchen cupbard and sehlf unit to go in shed
made shelf and fitted into cupboard
built shelf unit for shed
tidied the toys up in the shed
reading with dd
sorted this weeks menu out

have been reading a book with lots of eco type tips for living in it, am very excited by the thought of growing a christmas tree in a pot that I can bring in for christmas every year. Need to research this further as I would love to have a real tree, but always avoided them as seems a waste to cut a tree down for a couple of weeks use, this could be my solution

swanriver · 14/06/2010 09:24

That is a lovely idea Dylsmum re:tree

mind you I once saw a house with four enormous christmas trees planted in garden - someone had got v.attached

MC well done on weight and get up and go!
ML hope your dad is safely there and enjoying sunshine and palm trees(?)and cold beer if he's allowed..
Ruby yes, just one 24 hours worth of unpacking seems to have covered house in complete mess..not a sock to be found..ds1 now resorting to dh socks. (sure tis not like that in your house

kids to school
homework done some forged but pretty good going in 20 mins apiece per child for whole week!
chat friend

now deal with house
unpack
put away laundry dh did
wash socks socks socks where are they all?
singing practice
deliver dentist referral for dd
piano practice
wipe worktops
sweep floor
hoover house [yuk]
mop - still

swanriver · 14/06/2010 09:27
