Yes - Slatterns (now Slatterns and Listmakers) is now a year old.

Come and join us if you're a slattern, or simply like making lists for jobs you want to get done each day/week/month.

Never thought 12 months ago that a thread I started to help me get the bare minimum done at home when I was feeling shite would still be going strong 12 months later - even with me frequently AWOL in recent months.

Everyone is welcome, we're a friendly bunch.

Hi everyone, my God everyones been really busy

JKS I had a feeling when I was typing it Damson was something to do with food, and I've picked Intense truffle for my bedroom (although that won't be getting done yet, I just like to plan ahead)

HMHB hope dd is ok, I hate when they are sick when they are so little

The dcs are tidying the lounge, so I cam paint tomorrow
I have a cake to bake for dd1s friends birthday party
She is having a sleepover party, I think they are abit young but I have said she can go, dh will be ready for the midnight phonecall

dd1 did 2 tests in school and the results are given in years, as in where she is in comparison to other age groups
so she is 8yr6months

her reading age is 11yr
her maths age is 10yr 10 months

I am soooooo proud, not a bad thing to say about her just how lovely she is he hasn't experienced one of her moods then

Yay for your dd Plum, I have a morning off (of sorts). Left my DSis to do tablets and breakfast this morning. DD3 is gone to toddler group. I have until 11.50 to myself as DD2 has a hospital appointment after dinner. Wanted her to take full day off but they are getting photos taken today for school calender and as she is in the gaelic team, quiz team and school choir!!! She didnt want to miss out!

DS up a couple times in the night, he's got my cold, but I managed to get him back to sleep at 6, so we didn't get up til 9! Bliss.

We supped a bottle of wine last night while watching some Lost and True Blood, so I didn't get much done. DH working this evening though, so I've no excuses!

First step on condensation action plan - keep heating on all the time, but on low, to maintain temperature, preventing the walls/windows getting too cold, which is what causes the condensation apparently.
I did this last night and it seems to have made some difference.

Oh, just remembered and wanted to add to list otherwise i'll forget again! - agreed to sort through all extra old blankets to take to the homeless shelter this weekend, must try and do later, MIL said she would bring up loads she has got too.

• clean the cat flap & 'tunnel' (was filthy )
• clean floor next to cat flap - they come in with filthy feet!

Morning/afternoon all, I had a much better nights sleep thankfully so am feeling human (DD feeding at 1.30am and 4.30am and then 7.30am - God knows how much sleep I actually get ). DS at school this morning so DD has had some decent attention .

I have had a lovely day, swimming with DS and then a friend over this afternoon. I even got some jobs done this morning before I went out! Got lots to do tomorrow though (I've given up for today) as MIL is coming on Saturday. Going to write a big list of essential things and then things I will do if I have time. DH is working at home again tomorrow, and has already handed over all his work in preparation for having next week off so hopefully I can get him to help seeing as it's his mother!!

Well DH just returned from work to find me hystercal trying to clean up oil that DS had spilled over the kitchen floor while DS smeared it around. He will not keep out of the cupboards.
It's not clean properly, I'm going to give it a go with washing up liquid when DS is in bed.
