Yes - Slatterns (now Slatterns and Listmakers) is now a year old.

Come and join us if you're a slattern, or simply like making lists for jobs you want to get done each day/week/month.

Never thought 12 months ago that a thread I started to help me get the bare minimum done at home when I was feeling shite would still be going strong 12 months later - even with me frequently AWOL in recent months.

Everyone is welcome, we're a friendly bunch.

Rubbish weather here. Just popped in to my work and had lunch with the bosses which was nice. DD asleep throughout like a good baby. Big boss got her a baby gap dress - lucky thing.

Going out means that have got nothing done at home and its a real mess. But will ignore until DS gets home.

HMHB I am really impressed at how much you get done, after ds was born dishes were left from one night to the next, piles of laundry everywhere, rarely hoovered etc. He was a bloody nightmare though!

ClaireyB+ (see what I did there?) - there are piles of laundry all over the place here too! DH has done a fair bit this eve as I crashed and burned at 4pm. DD is v good though. I'll sort the house a bit more tomorrow as inlaws here sat.

Collected notes from docs, commented to dh that I thought they would feel thicker but didn't think I was allowed to open them

Went to tribunal, CAB man asked could we look at them and there were no notes from 2007 onwards!!!!!!!!!!
so went in to appeal and the doctor said so according to this dd1 has been fine for the last 3 yearsNO
So it was adjourned,
I have rang the docs they were oh sorry they should be there
and I said well the last letter from the hosp is January 2007, nothing about her surgeries or anything!!!!
OMG the more I think about it the I get [gggrrrrrr] so have to wait for another date grrrrr

So anyway today I need to tidy kitchen
get a wash on
make another shoe & irish dancing pump
organise myself for french night in school tonight

CWWM - that's rubbish. If it's any consolation, my DPs used to argue in front of us and it never did us any harm! They rowed less and less as we all got older, and have the most calm relationship you could imagine now

Hi I am ok we were talking again by the times he went to work.
DP has been doing loads of overtime and dd2 has decided to wake up at 11pm for the past two nights and throw a massive tantrum.
She is also getting up between 5 and 6am and behaving like a loon and winding the others up.
So this morning at 7am I lost my temper and really told her off dp said I had been too hard on her so we both ended up in a slanging match.
