too many toos in that sentance..

Fruitbatlings · 17/10/2009 18:35

every two weeks.

MaMight · 17/10/2009 18:43

It is currently my ambition to go a whole week without enforced sheet changing by way of puking children or leaking nappies

girlsyearapart · 17/10/2009 18:46

change our bed every Sunday.

Simple pleasures- bath clean pjs clean bed.

change dds every week ish but usually enforced changing occurs..

Celery · 17/10/2009 18:53

Fortnightly here, but it's only me in the bed. If there was a hairy sweaty man in there it would be more often.

ilovesprouts · 17/10/2009 18:55

once a week, twice a week in the summer

prettybird · 17/10/2009 18:59

Try to change our bed sheets once a week and duvet cover and pillow slips every two weeks.

But I can't remember the last time I changed ds' bed linen (he is 9)

Paolosgirl · 17/10/2009 19:02

Every 2 weeks-ish. Goodness knows how we've all survived.

prettybird · 17/10/2009 19:03

But I do air our bed every day!

nappyzonecantrunfortoffee · 17/10/2009 19:12

perhaps monthly or more often if like this week dh has been sweating alot as poorly and so leaves imprint of his body every morning so this week a record breaking twice but mostly ermmmm a slobby monthly or more or until someone decides hmmm when was the last time beddign was changed. We do shower and bath morning and night so were not entirely minging.

Every couple of weeks unless there's been an unusual level of nocturnal activities in which case it's more often.

DS gets his done more often as he spills his bedtime milk on a regular basis!

abra1d · 17/10/2009 21:02

Every two weeks or so. We air it every day--ie, duvet pulled back, window open.

Sleep with window open. Bath/shower every day. Change pyjamas frequently. Neither of us persires that much.

More interesting things to do with my time than wash bed linen unnecessarily.

Clary · 17/10/2009 21:03

every week for everyone.

Pillows in partic get manky with hair yukkkk

DS1's is the worst actually - think he dribbles (sorry if TMI).

urrrrggggh at monthly ones, what must yr pillowcases be like?

Clary · 17/10/2009 21:05

oh yes and if not the sweat or the hair on the pillowcase, can I give you all another reason

WORMS

abra1d · 17/10/2009 21:12

What I DO do is to hang out duvets and pillows on the washing line if the weather is good and sunny or there is a brisk, dry, breeze.

That's much more important for killing dust mites IMHO.

TerryWogansCock · 17/10/2009 22:13

i change mine weekly

but i am a slobberer

HidingFromTheDM · 17/10/2009 22:18

Sheets and pillowcases get washed every 3 days - duvet cover every Sunday.

Not because I am a clean freak, but because there is nothing nicer than sheets fresh off the line. Mmmm..

mooseloose · 17/10/2009 22:40

Every two weeks. I also put the duvet and pillows on the line all day to air.

LaurieScaryCake · 17/10/2009 22:49

Every week -10 days

i'm finding myself mildly annoyed at the wastfulness of folk changing every day - there's this thing called the environment people

EightiesChick · 17/10/2009 22:51

I hate getting them on and off, so monthly is more like it for me. DH loves clean sheets but it just doesn't happen more often. Would definitely pay someone to do it if the house in general, and particularly the bedroom, were tidier.

yes the environment means i need to change
you lot who do it over a week KNOW you are skanky
you stinking out your bedroom for 3 days longer will not help as long as china still becomes more industrialised

Paolosgirl · 17/10/2009 22:57

Who's stinking out their bedroom? Nothing skanky about me, thanks very much

PeachesMcLean · 17/10/2009 23:00

Am truly amazed by the number of people saying weekly.

You have tumble dryers as well, don't you.
