every week is what I aim for, poss 10 days max. As someone else said always after an illness, spillage of calpol or anything else.

Love getting hot bath- clean ironed pjs- and into clean bed, nothing beats it. oh and a hot water bottle if its a cold night!Dont think I could ever leave it a month

leolantern · 08/10/2009 12:24

I aim for every week sometimes it goes a bit over that but never more than 2 weeks.

pollydianasmummy · 08/10/2009 12:25

monthly

BudaBones · 08/10/2009 12:29

Never.

Cleaner does it. Every 2 weeks. Any more IS BAD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT!!!!

DS's bed gets changed about once a month because he only sleeps in it about once a month.

PVish · 08/10/2009 12:30

every week

YUK at fortnightly

whoisasking · 08/10/2009 12:37

Every week. When I win the lottery I am going to pay someone to come and change my sheets every day.

Carikube · 08/10/2009 12:40

I aim for every week but it turns out to be more a monthly thing....

BudaBones · 08/10/2009 12:43

Why yuk PVish? I shower every day. Clean PJs every second day. Pull back duvet completely to air bed every morning. Mind you bed doesn't see any action - would change more often if it did!

GetOrfMoiLand · 08/10/2009 12:44

Every day in summer, every other day (ish) in winter.

I really like the feel of clean sheets, plus me and DP toss and turn all night so wreck the bed, it is just as easy to take the sheets off in the morning as it is to make the bed.

Everyone I know thinks I am stupid for doing this, though, I am quite prepare for you all to tell me I am an arse!

NorktasticNinja · 08/10/2009 12:46

Weekly here too.

Those feeling slobby - I think my mum trumps you all with her super slatternly 3-6 month changing

PVish · 08/10/2009 12:46

beaucse you sweat and skin and stuff.

tigerbear · 08/10/2009 12:47

CommonNortherner - I'm with you - another one here who only does it about once a month (or longer!!).
It's one of those things I think is a right hassle, but in reality it only takes 5 minutes, so not sure why I don't do it more often. Right, that's it, I'm off to change mine now!

shootfromthehip · 08/10/2009 12:47

Depends on the weather and the 'action'; usually once a week but less ocassionally, more if the weather is warm

kittycatty · 08/10/2009 12:49

3-6 month norktastic are you kidding? Thought i was bad only changing them every 2 wks in winter, every wk in summer.

GetOrfMoiLand · 08/10/2009 12:50

3-6 months.

kittycatty · 08/10/2009 12:55

think i might go and change my bedding

star6 · 08/10/2009 13:12

I LOVE clean sheets. I love clean ANYTHING in fact. Personal preference I think. I don't think it's gross if anyone changes sheets more or less frequently. I just prefer to have clean sheets every other day. And I have strict rules about "action" taking place outside of hte bed anyway - more exciting that way, anyway! . And about getting into bed clean (showered). I know I'm a freak.

IveNowGotCleanCarpets · 08/10/2009 13:47

weekly

wonderif · 08/10/2009 14:04

I CHANGE MY CHILDRENS TWICE WEEKLY AND MINE ONCE A WEEK.

KIDS MORE IMPORTANT IN MY OPINION LOL

BonsoirAnna · 08/10/2009 14:06

Once a week for everyone.

Hulababy · 08/10/2009 14:09

Every 2-3 weeks or so, depending on how much time I have, the weather, etc.

I don't understad people who chose to wash things all the time. It's like the whole washing clothes after one wash (bar underwear). Unnecesssary in most cases. Also a waste of water, waste of detergents, waste of electricity - oh, and a waste of your actual time.

Kally · 08/10/2009 14:10

Every weekend. But I have particular duvet covers that I prefer over others and if they are clean they tend to get changed quicker, and then stay on longer... only because of the colour.

ILYM · 08/10/2009 14:12

Once a week for us all - cannot go any longer than a week -for anything

morticiasmum · 08/10/2009 15:19

Husband has eczema and uses LOTS of creams. We stick to sheets if not changed weekly... but for the kids, monthly or more is fine.

tonysoprano · 08/10/2009 15:23

once every fortnight but it's a bit whiffy by day 14.
