Liking the meal plans ladies. Maybe we should do a regular weekly meal plan on a Sat?

Mine is thus
Sat - take away (due to visitors)
Sun - Sun lunch (made by my mum hopefully)
Mon to Fri - hopefully having a baby so won't have to cook. Freezer and cupboards stacked up in anticipation.

My mum and step dad (aka Big Grandad) are due to arrive any min. House all clean and nice and ready for baby arrival. Took DS to get new shoes early this morning (he was up at 6.50am and got the last few bits I needed from town.

So basically I am ready to have the baby (apart from the baby book on childbirth hasn't arrived yet ).

Today
Gestate 39 weeks doing
Breakfast done
Tidy away breakfast things done
Get dressed done
Dishy on done
Lunch
Filing / admin done some more
Dinner
DS bed
Food shop done

Ongoing
Get new bathroom rug
Buy more school trousers for DS
Think of baby names!
Get some early nights
Write and send begging letters for local kids charity

Before Baby Arrives
Buy baby sponge thing for bath forgot
Get some DVD's to watch whilst breastfeeding
Put baby car seat in car.

JKS I thought I was missing an 'a' i n bargain

I think I might join you in a glass of wine I think have a glass full left in a bottle in the fridge

haven't progressed much today dd1 is in really funny form, its getting me down, one minute she is soooo happy and the next she is crying,
today it was because her hook thing in her new knitting set broke, even though dh has fixed it,

I'm hoping its her hormones, I think thats her way when she's upset about something but because I'm a lets make everything better person and shes hard to talk round, I just get fustrated,
then I feel guilty because I'm blaming her and it could be her arthritis [eeuuurrrghh]

JustBeBuffy · 10/10/2009 19:28

Aww Pumpkin, poor DD. Is prob is hormones, how old is she now?

jenduck · 10/10/2009 20:14

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Feeling a lot better today. I think I am always the one to try & keep the peace, I can't bear people to argue or be unhappy. I also always think 'how would I feel if someone did that to me?' and expect others to do the same, except, of course they don't.

Was keeping an eye out for news of babies on here, but I see there is none so the exciting wait continues!

No list today as has been a funny day what with ILs arriving for christening, DH doing up bathroom & other bits & pieces. Looking forward to tomorrow though!

Just hope DS settles now, has gone through a stage of screaming when we leave him in his cot (previously almost perfect sleeper & self-settled up to this week

Enjoy your Saturday evening one & all!

cikecaka · 10/10/2009 20:37
