Morning slatterns

DS slept through again last night! That is now 5 times in 3 weeks - we are getting there!!

Short list today - DH is working at home and we are off down to my parents for the weekend later. Just want to do enough so that things are tidy and organised when we come back on Sunday night.

TODAY
Up and dressed
DS boobed, changed and dressed
Breakfast x 3
Nappies on to wash
Meal plan for next week
Ocado order for Monday
Ironing
Another load of washing? Towels?
Pack
Lunch x 3
Pick up my prescription
Run hoover and duster round upstairs
Bins, recycling and compost crock out
Drive to my parents
Phone my cousin

Ali - my PIL are fantastic, they help so much, esp now my BIL + family have emigrated.

Fri:

• DH up first DONE
• breakfast DONE
• all dressed AllButDS2
• dh to work Gone
• ds2 nap Doing
• cup of tea & FB/MN/Farm catch up Doing
• jobs (call physio back, etc)
• lunch & tidy kitchen
• ds2 nap
• MIL & DS1 & me out for afternoon with friends
• poss FIl bring DS2 down to meet us for tea?
• tea
• boys bath & bed
• me & Dh out for evening, yey

Ongoing:

• get photos of family & hang them up
• get on with friend's family tree GotFileOut
• transfer all family trees over to Mac software
• then go through 1911 census
• organise (Started), upload & order photos of boys
• fix my bike (flat tyre)
• sort out security light outside trying
• filing
• complete draft of DLA form ready for when official form arrives Doing

Morning everyone, loving your enthuasim (SP?) Alice. Delight DS slept through for you Ali, DD3 slept last night she came in at 4 but fell back asleep, I had to get out of the bed at 5.30 as i was sweating in the middle of her and DH.

Not so much enthusiasm as just sick of living in a piss smelling pit!! (and no i am not exaggerating)

Have just spent half an hour on the phone to my friend, but managed to wash up and clean kitchen at the same time

Alice you need a carpet cleaner - a Bissel or a Vax or something.

I'm not doing very well this morning, I just cannot wake up! Having some orange juice and Spatone and then I must sort myself out. So far all the dones have been done by DH!

Already have one Ali but the carpet is completely knackered. We are planning on taking it up and just having floorboards, but it is a case of finding a weekend where DH can take DD down to his dads to keep her out the way and because of the dust etc, and when my dad can come and help me sand, varnish etc. Seems impossible atm

Ooh, it also says that before you put sheets in the airing cupboard you should put the set of sheets into it's pillowcase to make it easier to find and store - genius! I am suddly in love with Martha Stewart (if only my house looked like the ones on the website....)

Alice, if you get to that stage with your sheets and pillowcases, I think maybe you wont need the slatterns anymore

We mostly have plain white pillowcases that go with everything anyway.

See, i thought that was just a really good idea, because we are constantly losing a pillowcase, or everytime i try to get a sheet out of the airing cupboard everything falls out and i spend ages stuffing it all back carefully folding it again

whatever way i fold my quiltcovers I always end up with a nice parcel with the matching sheet and pillow case all together in the folds of the quilt

I got everything done today apart from the kitchen floor.

We're off to Ikea in the morning, then a kids Halloween party in the afternoon and an adults party in the evening, so you shan't see me tomorrow.
