Afternoon everyone

Thank you for all your concern, was nothing really, but i am not sleeping very well at the moment and struggling to get everything done in a day and still living in a tip has made me reach breaking point. DH was just the last straw. He has been very nice to me this afternoon, so maybe it is not all bad (it's good to make them realise how much they take you for granted sometimes)

So, as of tomorrow i only have to go to the horses once a day. The yard owner will give my horses their breakfast and check on them in the morning which is going to cut down the travelling down by 25miles a day (best part of an hour realistically) apart from on tuesdays when i have my college course. I feel like a big weight has been lifted now and i may actually get my house under control!!

Hello to julez

Why did no-one tell me?!?!?

If you could have yours today please, then I will have mine tomorrow and we can still be in time order

I am currently living by this and have paid particular attention to "Say f*ck it to to do lists"

Morning all! Hope you are all OK. Seem to be a few glumbums today. Let's all have an imaginary G&T & long hot soak! Welcome to Julez! Alice, glad you are feeling better today. Pumpkin, your cake sounds great, so thoughtful! Buffy, sounds like progress is being made with your DS's treatment, that's great! Still keeping fingers crossed for those imminently due ladies on here!

Had a wonderful day yesterday at DS's christening. It all went smoothly & he only whimpered a little bit when the water went in his eye. He also looked very handsome in his posh suit with waistcoat & cravat . In the end you were all right, the people that mattered were there, and the ones that weren't were the ones that missed out, not us!

Didn't have a great night's sleep as partly too wired from yesterday, then DS woke at 5.30 & wouldn't be settled. Seems not to want to be left alone in cot, although settled to sleep OK last night. Could this be separation anxiety? My mum says "that never existed when you were little, we just got on with it"

Added to that, we left one of our special crystal champagne flutes out on the coffee table last night, after quaffing celebratory Bucks Fizz. Are really special glasses, DH bought them for me for getting my first degree result, and we have used them at every special occasion since - anniversaries, engagement, Valentines', birthdays etc. Anyway, this one got broken due to DS pulling self up to standing & grabbing whatever he can reach (at selves). He is OK, did not eat & crawl in or eat glass, but in sleep-deprived state wept a bit as these can be replaced materially but not sentimentally IYKWIM. Had a moment where I put DS safely on other side of kitchen door & had a little scream!

Not doing huge amount today as shattered, but here is list:

Everyone up & dressed DONE
