cikecaka · 10/10/2009 09:43

Let us know what your meal plan is plum, it might inspire me! Kids are getting fed up with the same thing day in day out

Pumpkinbummum · 10/10/2009 10:36

I need ideas

So far I have
Pizza,wedges &garlic bread(tonight)
Roast chicken dinner
Spag bol
Sauasges, red onion gravy & champ
homemade burgars

help not very good at this
love curry we always have curry
so curry on there too

JustBeBuffy · 10/10/2009 10:45

Well Pumpkin you are a much better cook than me, my week tends to go like this:

Mon - left over something from Sun (whatever DH cooked)
Tues - pasta + ready made sauce
Wed - fish fingers & potato waffles
Thurs - desperation sets in & I hope DH will be back in time
Fri, Sat & Sun - DH &

I have done slow cooked casserole-y things from packets before (in the over, don't have a slow cooker yet), or cheese on toast, or another pasta night.
Am hoping ds's will get into pizza soon so that can be one night (they don't seem to like it much yet).

Pumpkinbummum · 10/10/2009 10:54

My problem is dh dosen't like similar dinners close together
so if we have potatoes one night its rice/pasta next [ggrrrrr]
last week we had chicken & ham pie so next night we had chilli sausages (found a packet sauce called chilli & corriander sausages)
sausages
onions
kidney beans
tin toms
pepper
rice
water and packet sauce its lovely
like a chilli sausage paella

SpookyAlice · 10/10/2009 11:25

Our meals this week are:

Sat - sausage casserole with jacket potatoes
Sun - roast chicken dinner
Mon - M&S meal deal
Tues - Tuna pasta bake
Wed - Beef stew
Thurs - Mince (lasagne possibly)
Fri - sausage and mash

If DH is going to be home really late i tend to do DD and i pasta and sauce and DH has a pizza from the feezer when he gets home.

For lunch we tend to have eggy bread/beans/cheese on toast/wraps/soup/jacket potatoes.

I hope this helps inspire anyone
