Morning everyone

CC - make sure you look after yourself a bit, nothing more horrid than having poorly children when you're ill yourself!

HMHB - definitely go back to bed, it's what maternity leave pre-baby is for!!

Alice - I hate to disappoint you but my hair is an unruly shoulder length bob, and my nails can't remember the last time they had a manicure

I'm so sleepy today, DS woke up for a feed every 1.5-2 hours all night, no idea why but it was horrendous. Had a full on screaming fit at one point so we ended up putting on a Sky+d Something Special and Mr Tumble calmed him down and he went back to sleep!

TODAY
Up and dressed - done
DS boobed, changed and dressed - done
Breakfast x 3 - done
Empty kitchen bin
Empty wastepaper bins and bathroom bin
4 loads of washing inc. nappies
Quick hoover and dust upstairs
Book Ocado slot for Monday

Fold clean washing
Do any ironing for weekend

Alibooobaandthe40phantoms · 09/10/2009 13:34

JKS for you. Do you want a hug or a manly pat on the back accompanied by a brandy? You can have both if you like.

JustBeBuffy · 09/10/2009 13:39

Not sure about brandy - a strong g&t would prob help?! Manly pat always better, hug & niceness = dissolving mess in the corner.... Don't even know what's set me off this time, stupid.

SpookyAlice · 09/10/2009 13:50

MumuRugrat you look exactly like Patsy I am of course Eddie

My friend rang me just as i went into the opticians to ask if i could drive her to a job interview at 12 as her car was crashed into yesterday. Fine, but meant i had to rush off straight after my appointment and have only just sat down. I would like a little nap now....

Everyone up done
Everyone breakfast done
Everyone dressed done
Unload dishy done
Reload dishy done (and on again)
Do the few bits of washing up
Put washload on done
Turn out horses and skip out field done
Go to opticians appointment (really worried about needing glasses ) done need glasses, but will have to go back on monday to choose some
Lunch done
Dry washing
Clean bathroom
hoover upstairs
Muck out horses and put to bed
Run hoover round sitting room
Quick tidy round
Put clothes away (maybe)
Mend Dh trousers

Have been thinking that i need to get myself properly organised for the winter and after Norks post the other day, have decided to sort out a daily list, kind of a basic to add jobs to;

Get up
Get DD up
Get DD breakfast
Put washload on
Empty Dishwasher
Get DD dressed
Shake sofa throws out
Quick tidy up of breakfast things
Turn horses out and skip out field
Dry washing
Lunch
Muck out, exercise and put horses to bed
Cook dinner
DD bed
Load dishwasher
Wipe down kitchen
Take clean washing upstairs and put away
Load up dirty clothes in basket to take downstairs in the morning.

It seems long, but is actually mostly quick jobs.

SpookyAlice · 09/10/2009 13:51

JKS x post, Manly pat on the back from me too

jenduck · 09/10/2009 13:54

cikecaka · 09/10/2009 13:57

Manly pat from me too JKS, dont want to get too close in case you catch my cold!!!!

Thats a good idea about the standard list Alice! Might start that from Monday.

DH wants to take DD3 to the cinema on Sunday. He wants us all to go as a family. Reckons they all went at this age, dont know if the cinema is ready for this 2 yr old

SpookyAlice · 09/10/2009 14:18

Cikecaka I thought if i could stick to a standard list my house at least would only need cleaning as i wouldn't have to worry about huge piles of washing/dishes/toys etc. I actually don't mind the cleaning, just can't stand the tidying.

WRT the cinema, could you go to a childrens showing? Our local cinema has a kids club on saturday mornings which is only a £1 each and lots of other kids too, so doesn't matter if yours makes a noise or won't sit still as there are others doing it too.

cikecaka · 09/10/2009 14:40

I dont drive SpookyAlice and the only day my DH has off is Sunday, Cinema is about 12 miles away, but is quite near a shopping centre so could always go there if she kicks up

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 09/10/2009 15:34
