Good morning ladies

Ali sounds like a lovely weekend

DH's work friend came over for dinner last night and it was really nice to have some adult conversation. She is the main reason DH and i got together, she told him to go out and enjoy himself and not shut people out - 2 days later we met and it was love at first sight, we met 4yrs yesterday

Right! Back to serious slattern business, my bedroom is a tip; piles of books out of the bookcase (curtesy of DD), piles of clean washing that needs sorting/ironing/putting away, summer duvet needs to be put away and needs a damn good hoover and dust! So that is my mission today, and my mission for the week is to get on top of the washing. I want completely empty washing baskets by friday.

Everyone up done
Everyone breakfast doing
Make beds
Put dishwasher on
Put washload on done
Sweep kitchen floor
Mop kitchen and hall floor
Dry washing
Put second load on

Our Bedroom
Empty bin
Sort clothes into piles - DD's, DH's, mine and ironing piles
Put away piles
Put away summer duvet
Get fur throw from bottom of wardrobe and wash
Wipe down surfaces

NorktasticNinja · 26/10/2009 10:44

I'll happily email the Master Plan(s) to anyone who wants them Just send me an email at lith @ whale-mail . com (without the spaces). It's an old email address so I don't check it unless I know something has come in IYSWIM.

I've not finished the weekly/monthly tasks one yet but I think I've got the system sorted (which is the most work). I'm hoping to finish it off in the next couple of evenings.

I'm afraid I've still not had time to read through this weekends goings on...

Hi all. Thanks for birthday wishes! Had a lovely few days (birthday was Thurs). Didn't end up going to Alton Towers as really heavy rain but made most of babysitters & had nice pub lunch Also went to Cafe Rouge on Thursday (Tesco vouchers!) as my parents had DS, then we stayed at theirs overnight, so all stayed up chatting for a bit when we got back.

One of my friends had a baby girl yesterday! Olivia Emily Victoria was born by emergency C-section, 8.13oz. I have said to my friend that I am here if she needs to talk/ask questions, as I had a section too, & remember feeling quite confused & that I had in some way failed. Was nice to speak to my sister who had been through similar experience. My friend has no close female relatives except mother & has been asking me questions all throughout pregnancy, makes you feel quite valued
