clairey Hope you feel better soon, Is there any bugs going round??

NaughtyAlice · 09/09/2009 13:27

Right, so i have emptied the dishwasher, done a bit of washing up, cleared up from lunch, wiped sides down and cleaned the hob.

I need to dry the washload that has just finished and try to write out a new routine because i now have to go to the horses twice a day rather than just the once. Might sit down with a cup of tea and a magazine first though

Flamesparrow · 09/09/2009 13:29

Argh. I have eaten, slept and still the world spins!

PlumBumMum · 09/09/2009 13:42

Clairey that sounds awful, look after yourself and don't worry about your dcs, I have just weaned dd2 off butter sandwiches, it was all she would eat for about a month and I have started sneaking things back into her sandwiches

Rainbow Always is the leader/creator of the slatterns thread, thats all I'm telling you

Alice How long does it take you to go and do the horses, it must eat alot into your day

DONE

ok I've slowed down a bit now - but still making progress and at least when DH gets back later it will be obvious I've actually done something today

Help DS3 finish his breakfast DONE
Get DS3 dressed DONE
Have a shower DONE
Get dressed and dry hair DONE
Empty dishwasher DONE
Load or two of washing (now it's brightened up a bit) 4 loads done
Hang washing on line all out (and one load back in already)
Prepare dinner (so I can just throw it in the oven later) started
Start writing my last OU assignment (due in by midnight tomorrow night blush)
Empty toy box and double check Virgin box card isn't in there
Ring virgin to order new Virgin box card
Hoover
Lunch DONE

just debating whether to strip the boys beds and get them washed as it's really warm out there so it'd dry fast. DS1's really needs doing, but the other 2 are actually ok.....

NaughtyAlice · 09/09/2009 14:46

Plum I am there for about 15mins in the morning, but it is a 45min round trip so that is what takes the time. The afternoons i tend to be there for about 1 and 1/2 hrs. So yes, does take up a lot of the day

Thanks Plum i do have to remind myself that other people generally have more time at home than i do, but at the same time when i am at home i feel like just flopping rather than doing stuff. I am gradually getting the house more organised and less cluttered which will help a lot.

Now get off your arse and do whatever it is you are supposed to be doing!!!!!

I have been really light headed all day. I am slightly better now than I have been. Prob just overtired or something.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 09/09/2009 19:06

Hello! Had a manic day today, managed to leave the house on time and then went to birthday party. 6 one year olds are hard work even when the ratio is 1 adult to 1 child!!
My friend whose DD's birthday it was is 16 weeks pregnant and she was knackered. Four of the other Mums just sat on their backsides and did nothing to help for the whole three hours! So I have been very un-slatternly, but in someone else's house

Dinner tonight is being delivered by the man from Dominos

Lots to do tomorrow, will post a list later.

Flame - hope the spinning stops soon, have you had your BP checked?

JKS - tentative for DS2!

Alice - Lord of the Rings online. Fab game but such a time sink!!

Always - that is a productive first day back

Rainbow - Always started the slatterns thread, about a year ago I think? She used to post under another name but I think doesn't want to be outed so I shan't say what. It's not wasting

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 09/09/2009 19:52

Ali - enjoy the Pizza, sounds like you have had a full on day.

Flame - ditto Ali, have you mentioned the spinning to your Midwife. Don't want you conking out!

Jobs this eve
DS to Bed done
Dishy on done
Washing out
Get changed
Eat Banana cake
Sofatime

JustKeepSwimming · 09/09/2009 19:58

Flame - hope you're feeling better? and Clairey, you too?

Always - do you not want to be outed? has stuff happened to namechange? (don't say what, just say yes or no. just don't want to out you by mistake!)

Thanks Ali!! Pizza tastes so much better when it has been delivered!!

And nice to meet you always, thanks to the thread you started I am no longer constantly living in chaos, just sometimes!!

Enjoy the wine JKS

Can't be bothered to even copy and paste my list, the exercise has come a close second to a delicious slice of strawberry cheesecake and a few pages of my book , DD had a catnap earlier, little lambs wore her out and now she keeps getting out of bed full of beans, Grrr....

I will be back tomorrow with list full of the stuff I should've done today.

Night all!!

Flame/Clairey - how are you both this morning?

Well DS is still asleep, having gone to sleep at 9pm last night and not woken in the night at all! This is officially the longest sleep he has ever done. Pity that between DH snoring and my cough we couldn't take advantage and get a solid 8 hours ourselves!!

How annoying about the clothes! Can you get a cheapy pair of trousers or a stretchy skirt to see you through the next few weeks?
