I am slightly more sane now. Been out food shopping with my mum and no children (would have liked to have gone with DH and no children, but that wasn't possible). Spent far more than normal, but too tired to care .

I have bought a new breast pump, so yay.

Got back and DH has made the dining room look how I expected it to look on Thursday . Dunno if that is an admission of guilt, or just fear of tears

Its sad that when choosing between heartburn pills, I opted for the ones containing castor oil isn't it?

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 27/09/2009 17:46

Flame doesn't that just give you the runs??

HMHB - hope you aren't tackling anything too strenuous!

to everyone else.

Still having a nice lazy day, dinner is going to be some spag bol that I made last week so no cooking required - yay!

Tidy up dining room - put toys into new chest! Looks tidy for the first time in months.

Flamesparrow · 27/09/2009 17:52

That wouldn't be a bad thing tbh (sorry for tmi!)

Is your dinner x 3 a batch cooking thing, for 3 people, or you are doing 3 different dinners?

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 27/09/2009 17:58

Oh dear!

No it just means we are all eating the same thing. Helps me remember whether DH is here for mealtimes or not, or whether I am giving DS his tea seperately and then DH and I having dinner once DS is in bed.

NaughtyAlice · 27/09/2009 18:25

Hello all

Still no babies???

HMHB I lurve that first bag! It is very me

Yesterday was horrendous, stressful and never to be repeated, but i think everyone had a good time and was worth it i think. Although, DD is tired and grumpy, Dh is tired and grumpy and i am starting to lose patience with both of them

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 27/09/2009 19:26

Flame - my MIL told me that when she was due with DH the hospital gave her castor oil to bring on the birth. Maybe it will help 'get things going' for you. Worth knowing though I thought.

NaughtyAlice - sounds like they all need an early night.

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 28/09/2009 09:52

Morning all
Last 2 1/2 days at work - whoo hoo. Quite busy here obv (apart from the mnetting). DH in a grump today as too busy at his work (SN school with not enough staff) and having to pick up the slack with DS as I just can't do certain things with him anymore.

Flame - hope the funeral goes ok and the castor oil doesn't kick in today.

JKS - you sound more rested. I am tempted to buy you a filofax pen though. Its been on your list for ages. Maybe we should club together to get you one.

CC - sounds like you need to do just enough to get by and start again another day when you feel more up to it.

CWWM - have you got to look after both of the little darlings again today or can you dispatch one to school / nursery? Hope you have a better day.

You too Plum - sounds like everyone is wrecked after the weekend!

Coffees and Plum's cakes all round.

Thought I'd give you all a bit of support since I have no list apart from

Morning everyone

Flame - hope today goes ok and that things don't start up.

CWWM - gah, if you get them all dressed and fed that will be enough

JKS - about the drugs. I saw your post about help after DS2's op. Think it's very sensible, it'll take the pressure off you all. Ooh, a massage - enjoy!

HMHB - glad to see you are winding down

CC - good idea to wait a day, it's horrid trying to do too much when you're knackered! Plenty of MNing to restore yourself

Stayed up far too late watching Point Break last night. Got lots done last night though, and finally soaked my feet.

CWWM - 4 months!! Growth spurt time, you poor thing!
I've been knitting for two and a half years, but I still class myself as a beginner, I can't do colour work or anything too fancy. I haven't done any for a couple months, too much going on to relax.
