Stealing Ali's title as just realised we're out of room, and hopefully all lost slatterns will find us!!!

Flame can you just take car and go nowhere for a bit?

I did a totally unnecessary job the other day - renewed my pile of teatowels! Asda had 6 for £5 so i bought them, then recycled any with holes/stains. Felt bizarrely better afterwards

I have put away all the clothes (apart from one box that I am ignoring). Conclusion... we have far too many clothes, and that was with me filling 3 charity bags of too small/don't like etc!

My feet are killing me, haven't stopped since yesterday (they were even waking me in the night)

I have tea, and am curling up til school run time.

Not been downstairs yet to see DH's progress, but seeing as the majority of the diningroom mess was the clothes, it should be looking a hell of a lot better.

Ooh I have packed a baby birth bag too - nappies, first babygrow etc. Handy to have all together for homebirth, or to grab if hospital has to happen.

wastingaway · 24/09/2009 15:34

Afternoon all!

Soooooooo busy....
Got a bit lost in Sheffield yesterday. It's like the Bermuda Triangle
DS had two naps yesterday and none so far today.

The whole baby clinic/HV thing makes my blood boil. I had myself worked up on Tuesday for an onslaught as DS had lost weight, and noone said anything!

I have given in and bought DS a valve-type cup from Asda, as he is always stealing his cousins and won't drink from his normal sippy-cup. If he still isn't interested then it must be the juice he's after.

Cups of tea all round I reckon.

Rest of today-

  • try get DS to nap
  • tea
  • DS bath and bed
  • wash pots
  • wipe sides and tidy round in kitchen
  • tidy living room
  • sweep and mop
  • lists and organise

well this was my list for today

dress all

collect ds1 from preschool
go for lunch (friday treat)
take ds' to see great granny
take ds1 to judo
go to mums for dinner
get showered and changed
settle ds2 to bed
go to wedding reception with dsis

but none of that is likely to happen (i wil feed the kids though) as i have woken up with the most almighty cold. every bone is aching, nose tripping me. throat feels torn open and head is throbbing. i would stay in jammies except we need bread and milk.
