Wasting - glad landlord visit went ok

Plum - went to pharmacist round the corner just to check i'm not mad and he said to def take him to the docs. The doc rang and gave us an appt at the hosp for later.
Obv going to work brilliantly with DS's need for sleep later

Sure he's mostly ok, prob a chest infection, he's not very happy with it and his breathing gets worse if he tries to run around, but he doesn't want to sit on my lap, fun and games...

I hate trying to get them to stay still when they are poorly

I went shopping this morning and got back to find a dinner spoon and puzzle reference picture outside having been posted through the letter box.... opened the door to find popcorn all over the carpet, 4 puzzles over the floor, the playmobil vet set scattered all over the hallway too. There was yelling.

I must have been much more scary than normal as they came running and actually tidied it

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 19/09/2009 18:16

Plum - that is lovely of your MIL

Wasting - you've got loads done! Glad it was all ok with the landlord

We have been out all day really, went into town and then straight down to SIL's. DH has said he will cook dinner, but he still hasn't been to buy the ingredients. I'm going to be making a cheese sarnie for me and DS at this rate!! Also, does anyone else's husband start a job and not finish it and not clear up after themselves nand then wonder why you get narky with them??

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 19/09/2009 18:18

Always - you are most definitely excused lists atm.

cikecaka · 19/09/2009 18:23

JKS, hope DS is ok!

No list today as we went to the Zoo, Myself DDs, DS and DN. Had a lovely day but am exhausted now!

PlumBumMum · 19/09/2009 20:15

cikecaka we love dublin zoo

waiting on dh coming home with pizza, and to bleed the boiler,
the oil ran out last night while we were out and we got some delivered today but dh didn't have time to do it earlier and its definitely cold, will put gas fire on for abit me thinks!

Ali I must say my dh is very good, its me who will wander off

Always everything ok?

OP posts:
wastingaway · 19/09/2009 21:29

Zoo sounds fun!

Did you get the shoes Ali? I couldn't believe how expensive they are! Even at the Clarks outlet it was £17 for tiny little shoes.

Hope everything's ok JKS.

We got out for a walk and DS had a little run around at the park, but he didn't have a nap til 4.30. I'm going to have to get him more exercise in the mornings I think.

I'll do tomorrow's list tomorrow. Easy day for me I think.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 19/09/2009 21:55

Wasting we did get shoes - £28!!!! And apparently we have to go back in 6-8 weeks for him to be measured again. All seems like one vast marketing ploy. Having said that, the ones we got him are very cute!

Plum - hope the heating gets sorted, I can't stand being cold!

Well I got my risotto for dinner in the end and very nice it was too, washed down with a bottle of Prosecco

Lazy day for me tomorrow too, DH has got DIY jobs to do and I have a laundry mountain but that is all.

PlumBumMum · 20/09/2009 09:07

Good morning everyone

Always Sorry didn't realise what was going on, I hope your ok, I clicked on your profile last night, my thoughts & prayers are with you, but you are strong and you & your boys will be grand, and remember to follow your own rules, get up done etc, a very un mn HUG for you

Ali, dh came home with pizza and bled the boiler, so heating up and running again, we live right at the top of a mountain and its always freezing here!
And when I said my dh is good, bringing home take away is the extent of his cooking skills, so you can't win them all

Morning, Have a very sore head ths morning , Have to go looking for clothes for DH today as DNs christening is next week. Be back with a list later

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 20/09/2009 10:34

Morning, at PILs. DH and DS are at SIL's farm. I will be going over later for DS's cousins 3rd birthday party (for approx 20 kids! including bouncy castle). As there were 3 under 4's in the house last night I thought it would be sensible not to stay over at PIL instead as I would end up carting them all about and doing stuff. Being looked after by MIL here which is nice.

Hope everyone having a nice relaxing Sunday.

Gestate 36 weeks doing
Get dressed
Wrap present for nephew
Pack
Go back home with fractious DS (just anticipating)
