DS napped too long to get to the reading club, but we went to the library anyway.

Good going on the cooker Alice, I may attempt that this week.

Can't face something as big as oven cleaning!!

Still feeling rough, have been popping neurofen at regular intervals and been ok, but left it too long this afternoon and now head and throat aching again.

• write in DS2's book for 18mo entry
• if not, buy new (cheap) DVD player
• make more cards so i'm ahead of myself...ShouldStartToday
• get sparkly chart for ds1 to maybe encourage toilet training....

alice well done on the oven cleaning, I have been avoiding doing mine, well whats the point when my new cooker will be going in as soon as DH has finished tiling the kitchen, then I promise I will keep it clean

JKS It sounds like you are feeling pretty rough, the trouble is when you're a muummy you have to just carry on as best you can, hope you feel better soon.

I just remembered last time I bothered to clean my cooker I used a product called Oven Pride to clean all the shelves with, you put your oven shelves in the bag and then fill the bag with the solution and leave over night, my shelves were sparkling in the morning and just needed a rinse. I think they do other products for the hob and the inside of the oven. Once my new cooker is in I plan to wipe it out every time it's used so it doesn't get to hard to clean, well thats the theory anyway!!

Belfast zoo and it is about 10/15 min from me so that can be a quick hop in the car as soon as the sun shines!
(prefer Dublin Zoo but dh normally joins us to go there so thats an organised day out iykwim)

It's a bit grey here this morning, but you could argue that it is ideal weather for a sort out I have started DD's room, but had to come down for some breakfast. The problem is that some stuff won't fit through the hole into the loft, but will fit under our bed, so i have to clear some stuff out from our bed so i can put other stuff there. Fun!

I have cleaned the oven - again! and it is much better, but have only just realised i can take the glass out of the door, so i think i will ask DH to get screwdrivers out later and then put it on soak (the door is the worst)

I have just scrubbed and hoovered every inch of DD's room, and i am knackered!! Sorted all her clothes out, which means i got a bin bag full for the loft, a bin bag of general crap to chuck out and now all her clothes fit into the one chest of draws, which leaves one chest free for toys/books/crayons etc.

Next job is to sort out downstairs toys into 3 different boxes, so 2 will live upstairs and just the 1 downstairs but can rotate when she gets bored - thats the idea anyhow!

alice it sounds like you are doing really well, you're not going to needing nagging today I'm not doing very well, I've spent to much time chatting to my Nanny and on the internet.

Also I have put my mobile onto charge and tried to turn it on but the screen is blank, I shouldn't let DS3 chew on it!!

Morning everyone DS slept from midnight until 9am! I am convinced it is his new woolly nappy cover that keeps him comfy and dry all night . It is raining and horrid here so no chance of getting outside today I don't think!!
I looked in the mirror this morning and for the first time in my life I look 30 (am I 32). I have always looked young so this is a shock, I need to sort myself out! Mission for this week - OCM every night!

ali appearance improvement is on my ongoing list too, for the first time in my life I am actually concerned about my age, I think I am going to have to start putting more effort into my appearance before it's too late, I must put my eye cream on every night, will add to list!
