Morning

Am shattered after my busy couple of weeks, not used to actually having a life! DH is off work today so am treating it as a weekend (am still in my pj's and have done hardly anything!). Am going to just try to get on top of all the washing etc, put everything back where it should be then will be back to normal tomorrow.

WME Hope you're ok, was that really your neighbour or just a mad troll?

I need a name change too, if anyone that knows me sees claireybee in the paper they will know it is me! I know it is all googlable anyway but to me it's different... May go back to superwasher!

PBM cake is amazing!

Alice our house is full of those bits of paint where either the landlord or previous tenants has done a botch job-drives me mad because you can never get it looking clean.

NaughtyAlice · 17/08/2009 11:27

Clairy how about bizzybee? or unbizzybee (depending on the mood?)

CC - I hate those days when it hits 5pm and you have no idea what to do for tea. Nightmare!

I seriously cannot face moping the floor. Was hoping DS would go down for a nap so I can do some exercise but he is resisting. It's too early for his tea, but I bet if I wait until 6pm he will be too tired to eat anything and flake out, then sleep for two hours and wake up hungry. Bah.

Girls are looking for Toasted Ham sandwiches, think thats what I will do! Joy of having to cook dinner for 1pm, would love to just do one evening meal and be done but it doesnt suit DH, because sometimes when he goes back after lunch he might not be home til 9 or 10 that night

NaughtyAlice · 17/08/2009 17:43

Evening all

We are going to have roast chicken, roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding and veg for dinner - mmmmmmm

Have given up with my list today. Was doing ok, but when we got back from the horses DD had an exploding nappy, which meant i had to bath her, wash the car seat insert and buckle guard and it has thrown me off a bit.
Hopefully will mop floors tomorrow. I am totally shattered now.

Have a good evening all, will be back with a decent sized list tomorrow

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 17/08/2009 19:53

Well I spent all of today saying 6 years ago today,
although it also coincides with dd1s arthritis being diagnosed!

hosp went ok, still to keep up the drops back on Friday, and keep her well away from anyone with cold or flu, esp because of steriods and immunosupressant together

Off to CAB tomorrow as apparently my dd1 does not require any more attention than any other 8 year old of normal health
Tell that to the timetable of drops on my fridge & my diesel bill!
and my dd2 everytime shes at the hosp and gets quizzed by her friends she gets totally fed up!
Sorry just fed up,
I have never claimed anything in my life and when I've been told for years to claim for dd and when I do they tell me that,
I know that shes not bad in comparison to others but she has still been through an awful lot, and I know for a fact people are getting for alot less

JustKeepSwimming · 18/08/2009 07:33

Plum - how frustrating!!!

I had a freak out last night as (not-so-)DH flicked a spider from the ceiling onto me in bed. i'm scared of spiders. then he got into bed and fell asleep. i was freaked out for ages, kept rubbing my arm where the spider had walked. v peed off with him. he has said sorry this morning but it's not enough yet.
oh and sore throat has come back, again, never managed to finish all the ABS so will try and finish them today.

Tomorrow:

  • me up first DONE
  • breakfast DONE
  • dw unloaded & reloaded DONE
  • everyone dressed
  • strip beds & find clean bedding
  • general tidy pre-cleaners
  • ds1 & me to friends for morning
  • HV coming to see ds2 at 12.30

Tut tut JKS You really would need a whole course of Ab's depending on the gap!
And good luck today hope everything goes well for ds!

Although you have my sympathies can't stand spiders either[eek]

Just finished invoicing
And realised need to make a start on VAT return if I want this one to be on time!
Need to hang out wash I put on last night
get dcs ready
go some messages for dh
drop dcs to mil
go to CAB

Then come back and get stuck in, how does the house get just as bad so quick[argh]

NaughtyAlice · 18/08/2009 08:18

Naughty JKS

Plum there seems to be no rhyme nor reason with them. I had problems when i broke my leg. They told me that i hadn't paid enough tax despite working for 7 yrs, and yet my junkie of an uncle who has never worked an honest day in his life was entitled to a decent amount I am very for you.
