Kind of a 'My next job is......' do it and come back and report to give enthusiasm and help chivvy along my lazy arsed self

Alice I'm up for that . Off for a nap, back in an hour with some energy I hope!!!!!

Right so, My next job is to carry the hoover upstairs, and I need to clear the stairs

My next job, start DCs lunch and sort kitchen, put away stuff of the surfaces, wipe down surfaces, clear draining board and sweep floor.

• buy some cheap photo albums (Factory Shop trip)
• find correct sized refills for filofax pen - maybe buy a new one - can't find one i like
• get on with friend's family tree
• transfer all family trees over to Mac software
• then go through 1911 census (again)
• plan & use reward chart for ds1 to get him using the toilet
• list last 2 items to sell on eBay
• sort out a wireless phone system (try out old wireless phone first at a temporary fix)

My next jobs are to...wake ds2 & collect ds1, come home & have lunch

Brilliant! (i do think the slatterns are the most decent people on MN )

I have cleared the kitchen sides, put loads of stuff in the dishwasher, washed up non dishwasher stuff and wiped sides down. Have just put wasload on.

Next job is to sort clean washing piles that are taking over downstairs and do lunch.

Well I have done my last job!! DS3 is having his nap and I'm now enjoying a coffee and a Kit Kat (ASDAs own actually, but just as tasty).

My few jobs will be; Write out wishes, get ready to go out, go out, go to shop on the way back and when I return empty the big Dyson and the little Dyson (I have been putting this one off and now they are both at bursting point)

Alice and CC - well done You both 'sound' perkier today. I think getting it all out on here yesterday was good for me, it made me feel less like a freak!

Peppa - I have a tip for you about feet. Get your GP to prescribe one of your kids some Oilatum cream - one of them must have dry skin/eczema, right? It is amazing for feet, hands, knees and elbows - all the really dry bits. And you only need to remember to use it every other day. I have been doing it for a week and my feet are transformed. You can buy it, but it's quite expensive.

I have had my nap, was lovely although interupted by the postman. DS and I are having our lunch now.

My next jobs are to empty the dishwasher and then hang out the washing.

Alice - how did your interview go?

Was Plum going to be in overnight with her DD? Hope everything went ok

Buggeration. Just wrote a lovely message to you all about PND and feeling rubbish and it didn't work. Hope you are feeling better.

It was something like don't forget to rant on the slatterns chat page as will make you feel better and that you are not alone in feeling rubbish.

Hey, i think the interview went well. It is basically so that i can go on a 12 week course and then at the end will be a community parent volunteer, which means that i will help out at the play sessions, special occassions, do some home visits as a parent 'buddy' and just give support to those who need it. I think it will help me from getting quite so down too as i will be kept busy and feel i have more of a purpose iyswim?

I have hung my washing out and sorted my laundry into separate piles. Need to get changed and go to horses now and i WILL ride! I always feel 10 times better if i get to ride, even if it is only 10 mins.

Ali thanks for the tip, I have Oilatum bath oil prescribed for DS2 and it's nearly all gone, when I go back for a repeat I will mention the cream if not I will buy it, I'd do anything for lovely soft feet!!

alice the volunteer work sounds very rewarding, it will keep you busy and it will look great on a CV, I am worried that when I need/want to get a job I am going to have a huge gap on my CV, it's been 3 years of not working already, where did that time go

Ali the last time my DH worked away, several years ago, I thought I would enjoy the time alone with just DS 1 and 2, but the first night was horrible so we went and stayed with my mum and dad, there is a strong possibility that DH will have to work away again in November, I will have to stay at home though because no on I know has got enough romm for 5 of us Maybe I could get someone to stay at mine.
