PBM Maybe I am you Do you know, when I was reading that you want to read it before you see it I thought how the hell can she read the book before she sees the book, and then I remembered about the film

I did ask for it at the library but I was told that it is on loan atm and there are 25 people waiting to borrow it, so if each one of those people has it for 3 weeks I will get to read it in about 75 weeks I'm going to buy it soon. In the mean time I have borrowed Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult.

I have just finished Vanishing Act by Jodi picoult, I enjoyed it but........ will not say anymore incase you want to read it

I would like a good book for when dd1 is in hospital but as that is Thursday, I'll prob end up re-reading something from the book shelf, I had a book I loved called Cinnamon Wharf I have read a couple of times but I have lost it, must see if i can borrow that!

Sorry no post yesterday due to family meltdown. My sister rang v upset with my Dad. Long story - may have time to put it on our chat page later. Basically to do with his new girlfriend being a cow and lack of contact from him with rest of family. Managed to calm her down a bit but took ages so no jobs done.

Ali It's gone all cloudy here and I think we are in for some rain tomorrow, so I am glad we went today. It was lovely until DS1 had a tantrum because I wouldn't buy him chips, he is nearly 13 but he is starting to behave like a toddler I made a picnic because I don't have money to splash about and we have a few special occasions coming up and a car to tax and MOT. DH is a bulider so his work is not reliable, especially now with all this recession.

The house is a dump and I have let the washing build up again, I am just not in the mood for housework and I thought joining this thread had turned me into a domestic Goddess I am posting tomorrows list today in the hope that it will push me in the right direction

Chilli Bean soup was lovely although I used cayene chilli pepper so vvvv hot

Chop 1 onion and saute with 1 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp ground corriander, 1 tsp of ground cumin, 1 crushed garlic clove.

Then add 1 400g tin of Kidney beans, 1 Tin of chopped tomatoes and 600ml of veg stock
simmer for 15 mins and then blend

to serve put some tortilla chips stickng out of soup and sprinkle with grated cheddar, only takes amin for cheese to melt, yum!

Plum the soup sounds good, my DH likes anything with chilli in it. I have ordered that book from Amazon and I also bought The Book Thief.

I have just tackled my kitchen because if I woke up to that mess tomorrow it would put me in a bad mood for the rest of the day. Its tidy now, but I am fed up with looking at plain pastered walls, no floor and a tatty sick DH is doing things a quick as he can inbetween working and family life, so I have got to try and be patient, I will be doing the painting as soon as the walls etc are ready!!
