Well the rain did clear up so we decided to go to the beach, even if it was just to have a picnic under the clouds, but as we arrived the torrential rain started, so we ended up having the picnic in the car and then drove home, now we have thunder and lighting. It wouldn't of been so bad, if it wasn't for the fact that we were stuck in traffic on the way there and back. So our great dayout was actually 2 hours in the car Luckily the DC seem to be in good spirits!!

My washing is now much wetter than it was when I put it out. I am going to use the tumble dryer for the stuff I have washed today and then when the rain stops I will rescue the washing from the garden and put it back in the WM for a rinse and spin.

HMHB lucky you, I can't remember the last time I had a quiet day

wastingmyejumication · 06/08/2009 15:12

Peppa, sorry about the weather.

HMHB re: when LO arrives, have you got Sky+ or V+? I wish I'd had it when DS was newborn! We've had it since June and I'm so much more relaxed in the evening knowing that if he wakes up (rarely these days, but it was every 45min when he was little and it still haunts me) that I can press pause on whatever I'm watching and carry on when he's settled back down.

WME I agree with you on the Sky+, I wish I had it sooner too, we got it when DS3 was 2 months, imagine all the good TV I missed . It means I can record things when I am busy without having to mess about with the trying to find a blank DVD or video, well worth it, although I think sky are giving out the boxes for free tonew customers. DS3 was also terrible for waking every 45 minutes, it was a nightmare!!

Ladygooga · 06/08/2009 16:39

Sorry not been around all day, whenever I have to pop anywhere with mum it ends up being an all day thing.

But have got done:
Bought school shoes dd1

Dropped ds games round to friends dd
Helped sis with engagement invites even though we all hate her fiance!

My mum phoned I really do think she lives in a bubble,
She said there is a circus In the town were they rent out a house and it looks lovely, and my dad said "oh wouldn't it be lovely to take the dcs to that, they would love it"
Firstly they never took them anywhere but shopping when I was talking to him
and secondly HELLO is she bloody crazy,
Why say things like that
she does this all the time !!!!! and then she wonders why I am off with her on the phone [aarrrggghhh]

Hello Everyone old and new,

For those of you who remember me - waves!

I have not read through (too long) I hope you are all ok. Is there any big news?

Well I have not been on because I have been suffering from quite bad PND and sort of lost interest. But I'm back now.

Right tommorrow:

Get up early
Shower
Get dressed
Pack lunches for day out
Get DDs to get ready
Wash and dress baby
Have breakfast
Girls breakfast
Brush girls hair and teeth
Go to doctors
Collect girls - day out
Book DD2's party

Back tommorrow Night!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 06/08/2009 22:42

Well I had a lovely day, until my parents decided to try and talk to me about the row with my brother just before I got in the car to come home. I got so upset and we were at it so long that DS fell asleep on my Mum's lap. My Dad then decided that I was in no fit condition to drive home, so he drove me and DS in my car and my Mum followed in her's. DH had got some dinner ready so we ate that before they went home and had lots of hugs. They are really torn up over it too and don't know what to do for the best. Ugh it is horrid. However, DS loved seeing them all day and them coming back here so at least that is one good thing.

Sorry that should have gone in the chat thread really, too exhausted to think straight.

Plum - grr at your Mum. Clearly she is just in her own little world, I am glad that you have got the new baby to think about to take your mind off it . Does it's little head smell all milky and lovely?

Ladyg - that is a shame about your Dsis fiance, does she know you hate him?

Peppa - what a rubbish day for you, hope tomorrow is more successful!

CWWM - that is lovely of DD's teaching assistant.

Tomorrow
Up and dressed
DS boobed, changed and dressed
Wash nappies
Breakfast x 3
Clear up kitchen
Tidy living room
2 more loads of washing
Lunch x 3
Pjs to Mothercare
Pop to Boots
Take DH's suit to dry cleaners
Meal plan for weekend
Dinner x 3
DS bath and bed
Flop
Sleep

Have guilt about not doing my yoga (see, adding it to the list worked!)so this morning decided to try to do the dvd. Well, I would like to say that unless you already know what you are doing then yoga from a dvd is bloody impossible! You can't see what she's doing when you're upside down or looking at the ceiling and I kept cricking my neck trying to see what I was meant to be doing by which point she'd moved onto something else! So I think I need to have a google so that when she says the name of a position I at least know what it is meant to look like

SB glad too see you back, sorry about the pnd. Just remember it is an illness just like anyhting else and not a failing on your part.

HMHB I have wanted to stop bf for ages but ds has always completely freaked out if I've tried to refuse him a feed, this time he's been quite accepting though. He was down to 2/3 feeds and cutting down further didn't seem to be happening so I decided to just go cold turkey. I'm feeling awful today though because he is ill with temp and I'm not giving him the magic milk!

Alibaba/PBM sorry about all the family troubles

ali it's terrible when they decide to change their routine!!

clairey I found that when I tryed a yoga DVD, I must add some exercise to my list, I have put my eye cream on every night since I have added it to my list, I haven't bothered with a list today and I am all over the place!!
