Okay, I am clearly worrying way too much about this but there are only a few spaces left in the old thread!

(What do I think will happen if we finish without a new list? We'll just make a new one. Relax woman!)

Thanks to alicecrail for the title.

Please finish the old thread before starting on this one - there could be a prize if you are number 1000.

HELLO TA did you not read my posts, no lemon drizzle meetups!

TrillianAstra · 27/05/2009 14:21

Sorry, it took me a while to write that last post while also making chilli for lunch (had a craving for hot spicy meatyness cos the weather is so awful) so your posts weren't there.

I will do as I'm told, sorry mum.

OP posts:
PlumBumMum · 27/05/2009 14:24

trillian i didn't know you were stalking near me

Was in quite a good mood today until i text my best friend to say sorry i didn't organise for her to come over last night (DH goes out with his geeky friends most tuesdays) but Dh didn't go out and i have fluey bug anyway. She then text back saying 'poor you, you are always ill lately' erm... I have been ill only once (other than this) since having DD 18months ago and she is the one always complaining of period pain or her hernia (which i'm sure is painful) so a bit grrr at that (irrational, i know)

And then i spoke to my dsis, and she was telling me about a house they are thinking of renting that costs £390 a month (which is quite reasonable i thought). The only problem is that at the moment they are in a council flat, and her dp has been declared bankrupt and they are always spending their money on holidays/new clthes/take aways, and then complaining how everyone has more money than they do So i said it sounds great, but best to have good sort out finacially to make sure you can afford it etc and she just has an answer for everything about how they won't spend so much money up there because they are near the beach and ..... AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Sorry for the rant, feel a bit better now

She was in bed with a very cute (and I don't always say that) little baby asleep beside her, her DP had to go and check she was awake so I could go and say hello. Going to go round in a week or so and have tea once she is ready to get out of bed

I'm in Sheffield so it will probably have to be virtual cake .

Still same here starting to feel like it is all a bit of an anti climax again dosen't help when my dsis turns up and asks how long does it bloody take .

I am going to sit on birthing ball and bounce around on it while the apprentice is on.

Hope everyone is ok night night xx

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 27/05/2009 18:33

Bless your dsis CWWM, .

I remember last time decided to watch a film. It was a rubbish film and not good enough to be a distraction from the pain of the contractions.

Hope all goes well. xxx

TrillianAstra · 27/05/2009 18:43

Bread and butter is great HalfMum - good for growing babies!

No need to apologise NBM - I am told that not everyone is a Mn-aholic

CC that sounds like a very cool party

OP posts:
PlumBumMum · 27/05/2009 18:50

CC I'm about 45mins (I think)from Newry, so if the English slatterns ever decide to have a lemondrizzle meetup, we will have a chocolate brownie meetup (does brownies trump lemondrizzle)

HMHB Hope so, although got script for anti flams so better go take one and behave, no more wii(pretend I don't care dh got fitness of 28)

CWWM when I had dd2 they sent a student doc to me to practice getting patients history and she said that the majority of women who have had more than 2 dcs go into Labour in the early hours of the morning and at the weekends

TO DO
Dishes
get dcs in bed before football
beer, football & Apprentice
read some more of my book

knew that was going to post twice because something strange happened

cikecaka · 27/05/2009 18:52

having the pary TA is the a way of keeping me focused so that I dont end up depressed and crying because my babies are growing up. But dont you know I will be on here the morning of the party doing some crisis cleaning blush].

TrillianAstra · 27/05/2009 18:54

Just thinking that means that at once point you had babies who were 3, 1 and just born all within the space of a week. Eeek!

OP posts:
cikecaka · 27/05/2009 19:10

Yeah,DD1 was born 2 days before DS 2nd birthday. DD2 was born 4 days before DD1s 1st birthday. ......................then there was 7 yrs and 8 months between DD2 and DD3!

wastingmyeducation · 27/05/2009 21:36

CC - I just told DH about the age gap between your DC and a look of pure terror crept over his face!

This thread is making me broody!

Can't remember what I needed to do.

  • finish pots
  • mop floor
  • bring washing in
  • take meat out of freezer
duchesse · 27/05/2009 21:54

Hullo. Trillian said I should come. It's a bit like the Weightwatchers of doing stuff here, isn't it? The thought that others are aware of your list keeps you to the grindstone?

I shall think of a to-do list for tomorrow.

wastingmyeducation · 27/05/2009 21:56

We don't count points though duchesse. Welcome!

TrillianAstra · 27/05/2009 22:02

Actually if you are too keen and complete your list more than 3 days in a week we spank you and send you to the FLYlady threads (where they do LOTS of cleaning!)

I definitely wasn't at the grindstone today, too much time on MN and sofa.
