Okay, I am clearly worrying way too much about this but there are only a few spaces left in the old thread!

(What do I think will happen if we finish without a new list? We'll just make a new one. Relax woman!)

Thanks to alicecrail for the title.

Please finish the old thread before starting on this one - there could be a prize if you are number 1000.

Yep, same coat that I borrowed the day that tea turned into wine and it was chilly on the way back for reason of it being nighttime. Tried to take it back once before, she said dno't bother about the coat let's go to the pub instead, but then my bike had a puncture so I didn't go at all. So trying again. It's not her favourite coat or anything.

What a day we had yesterday! DS was really clingy again and fell asleep on my lap, dd said she was going for a wee. 5 mins later she came back and told me she'd spilt water in my bedroom. Went upstairs and there was an empty ibuprofen bottle on the floor (I'd stupidly left it on my bedside table after giving it to ds in the night). I asked her what happened to the medicine "I drank it" "you drank it??????" "yes I drank lots but then I spilt it on the floor but look I put water on it and I cleaned it so don't be cross". Mad panic, called dh said you've got to come right now we have to take dd to a&e. DS' temperature had shot up again so dh took ds to the walk in GP clinic at the hospital while I dealt with dd in a&e. Got asked loads of horrible pointed questions "How did she open it?, Why was it within reach?, Why wasn't it locked away, What was she doing upstairs on her own?, Do you usually leave her to her own devices?" (she went for a wee ffs) etc etc. Nurse took her stats then waited hours before seeing a doctor who didn't know what to do so referred us up to the paed ward. Nurse who buzzed us in said "We've got another patient with your surname here, very poorly little boy" Me "that's my son!". Did loads of tests on them both, whilst I felt like the worlds worst mother for having 2 children referred to paeds ward at the same time . Found out ds has tonsilitis again and possibly a wee infection. They did blood tests on dd to find out how much she'd drunk (where she'd tried to clean it up I couldn't tell how much she'd spilt)and luckily luckily luckily they came back clear so she can't have had much-we just need to keep an eye on her and any vomiting or tummy cramps go back in.

Sory v long!

Am I allowed to post a list even though I've already almost completed it?

clairy what a crappy day. I hope both are ok now, You are not a bad mother at all, some people just like to make people feel worse than they already do.

We have just had our lunch, i got DD out of her high chair, all cleaned up and sat down on sofa. DD comes cuddling up to me and she stinks! So i get all the changing gear out, only to find that she has had an exploding runny poo that has shot out the back of her nappy up to her neck!

Hi all,

Clairey - OMG what a nightmare re DS and DD! . Post away girl. Go for your life.
Don't feel like a bad mum. These things happen. Even DH offering sympathy.

JKS - you could use icing to glue the cars on. Icing sugar mixed with water. Make it thick, not runny and it should hold the sweets on.

Am fine today after being slightly emotional yesterday. Thanks for all the lovely messages. Made me feel better.

Managed to get away with the afternoon off work by saying I'd rather not talk about it. Phew.

Awful back ache now so I've got out of putting DS to bed but am on tea duty....its fruits of the freezer again!

Halfhearted list

DS ready for bed
Make dinner
Tidy kitchen
Empty dishy

Contact accountant
Online shop?
