TrillianAstra · 05/05/2009 09:33

Okay, I am clearly worrying way too much about this but there are only a few spaces left in the old thread!

(What do I think will happen if we finish without a new list? We'll just make a new one. Relax woman!)

Thanks to alicecrail for the title.

Please finish the old thread before starting on this one - there could be a prize if you are number 1000.

Morning all! Thanks for DS birthday wishes. He has rewarded me for all the fun we've had by waking up 3 times last night.

MM - you're far too far away for the crap well-worn furniture in my garage! I've signed up to our freecycle, but need to get looking on it and list everything. Painting is fun, but don't wear yourself out!

CWWM - I was convinced I wouldn't get to 40 weeks, I felt so full, but DS was due on the 1st. Take something essential out of your hospital bag, that might help things along.

Today-

  • breakfast, clear up
  • washing
  • fold dry washing
  • sort change bags
  • DS dressed
  • Me dressed
  • rubbish, recycling and composting out
  • mop floor
  • DS nap
  • DS snack
  • put clean washing away
  • put outgrown stuff in DS cupboard
  • lunch
  • office - spend as long as poss. sorting
  • walk?
  • DS snack
  • tidy through downstairs
  • dinner
  • DS bath and bed
  • clear kitchen
  • sort through paperwork
Alibabaandthe40nappies · 13/05/2009 09:33

MM - I grew up in Havant, and I only live an hour away now. I can't do anything this week but if you wanted a hand next week I'd love to come and help you

Sorry to crash in on you here. Comewinewith me kindly told me you exist :-]
How does this work?

alicecrail · 13/05/2009 12:17

Hi jenny just write a list. Don't forget to add important things like: get up, have breakfast, mn etc. You may not have more than 3 completed lists a week and if you are caught cleaning your skirting boards you are banished to fly lady Enjoy

We are very nice here, and only slightly mad

Stumblebum · 13/05/2009 12:30

Hello

Can I join this even if I work 5 days? My house is a tip and never feel on top of it!

Could post a list in the morning and update aat night? hopefully

alicecrail · 13/05/2009 12:43

Hello stumble My name is alicecrail and i am the newbie welcoming commitee today You can come on as often as you like and do as much or as little as you need, see rules above We are really nice here

Stumblebum · 13/05/2009 12:48

Thank you! Am thread hopping atm, but will compose my first list (flexes knuckles)

  • put washing out to dry
  • wash up after lunch & put breakfast dishes away
  • make beds
  • school run
  • put washing on
  • homework with dc's
  • prepare tea

Have just read some more of this thread and am in awe of these lists!

Will just add one more,

  • compose ongoing list!
alicecrail · 13/05/2009 12:52

Thats it! It is easiest to copy and paste the same list every day but some days a mini list is all i can manage, so i will do maybe 5 things and then i feel like i have achieved something

wastingmyeducation · 13/05/2009 13:09

So far I have
got up
got dressed
watered chilli plants
had lunch
phoned Tesco clubcard
put away dry clothes

and now I am looking at my sock/tights drawer thinking that I need to keep all my socks so I just need a bigger drawer.
