A bug and tired I think. I've emailed my demo lady to postpone, but I don't have a phone number for her and I'm worrying she might not get my message - I don't want to go to a heavily pregnant woman if I am not well

Well I'm back from shopping what possessed me to go on Good Friday I will never know (lack of meat in fridge maybe)

BIL is going to leave dcs off at MIL to give them dinner and we're going to pick them up there, is it sad that I miss them though

Hope you are all having a fun Good Friday. We are staying in all day as its DS's first day of potty training. My mum and step dad are visiting. All are on potty alert.

The scan went absolutely fine yesterday. Am 13 weeks apparently. Got some maternity clothes whilst out. Distinct lack of anything decent / remotely fashionable. Shocking maternity ranges in Debenhams and the New Look I went to. Got some maternity leggings and a few baggy tops from a non maternity range.

CWWM I'm sure I'll be in your boat when the baby does arrive. I seem to have forgotten all the mayhem a baby brings and what the heck am I going to do with DS 1 and a baby? Must make a plan.

HMHB glad the scan went ok .

I had a hard time potty training dd and ended up getting the Gina Ford training book (I know she is a bit on here!) well it worked and she was trained in a week and this was after 3 months of refusing to go near it or even keep a pair of knickers on.

(don't listen to any Gina Ford stuff ) all 3 of my dcs trained in a week and dry at night, just trained dd2 when I joined the slatterns so hope this thread brings you the same luck it did me

(although I have never read the gina ford potty training book, it could be I've done everything she says in it)

Anyway dh came home we had a late lunch, and now hes away back out to work, and I'm going to get that ironing done

Oy PBM don't diss my Ford method .

Meant to say HMHB ASOS and George online do a good maternity range .

Friends still havent arrived. . If they dont come soon, DDs will have eaten all the goodies

Supposed to be PBM, glad at first that they were delayed as my DM was here, she has got into the habit of calling at mealtimes lately, she didnt leave until 3.30, on the upside my house is clean (downstairs ) and I can sit here and MN

There is hail coming down outside, I have loads I need to do outside over Easter week hope this weather clears up

House is getting there slowly, atleast two rooms look nice!

CWWM and PBM thanks for the potty training tips. I've gone mad and got the Mumsnet toddler book which has some good tips plus we have some story books about going to the potty etc. Also have bought the Gina Ford potty book as insurance. Not read all of it yet.

Potty training progress report - after a couple more wet trousers we have success. DS sat on potty outside and did a wee. Much cheering from all 4 adults and sweeties dispatched. DS delighted. 'like potty wee wee' he said and held up the potty full of wee. I was really proud ! Half an hour later he was in the tree house and did a wee. No time to get to potty and most upset. Even though, feel like progress has been made.

We have had a really warm sunny day here today, so this morning i took DD to the local green on her new trike where she could have a great run about and we could watch the racehorses - bliss! It does however mean that the done's are a little thin on the ground!!
