tortoise · 12/01/2007 12:38

Front room floor tidy and hoovered done!
DD's eating lunch.
I'm not feeling hungry.
Just read report from SW for meeting at SS Monday. I'm not happy with a few bits she has said.

I'm going to go through it later with a highlighter pen and mark all the bits i disagree with. To top it off she has put that i go on single mums net in the evenings.I told her i didn't want either ex knowing what website i go on and she's basically put the name in the f*ing report.

tortoise · 12/01/2007 12:39

Well done ivor.

JustIvor · 12/01/2007 12:42

tort I'm very cross on your behalf that the sw has put that in her report. Can I suggest that you ask her to change it to "a parenting website offering advice, support and friendship" instead?

shouldbedoingthehousework · 12/01/2007 12:47

oh tort what a silly thing for the SW to do! What difference does it make to anything which websites you go on anyway?

I was hungry and have had beans on toast.

Off to set up ironing board now while ds plays on the computer.

shouldbedoingthehousework · 12/01/2007 12:48

good idea Ivor

ludaloo · 12/01/2007 12:54

Hello.... I've finally stopped for some lunch!

glitterfairy I have only told a few friends about MN...and they think I'm a bit mad!! I don't mention it too often!

cappuccino I am the same with library books...its got to the stage where I avoid going because I know I'll never remember to take them back!

satin you really do do well I was just in a blurr for the first few months!!

ivor your list is huge!! You are doing well getting through it all though!

grouchy hope you are feeling less wobbly now!

jelley did you find the kids bedroom floor??? I'm just off to do that too!!

Well done everyone...today seems to be energy day! Maybe thats because its nearly the weekend.

Right well...resting over...see you in a bit

ludaloo · 12/01/2007 12:57

oh..x posts...

tort how annoying!!! Of what concequence to anyone is it if you go on MN???? FGS..why should that even need to be mentioned?
Did she mean it in a good way...that you get advise, company, help etc?

JustIvor · 12/01/2007 12:59

luda I agree about not mentioning MN to RL friends if possible. I'd hate to be outed. Plus, they all think I'm a bit mad anyway!

Off to walk the dog once I've finished my lunch.

ludaloo · 12/01/2007 13:01

Its really strange to read your posts now Ivor I can actually picture you saying it now!
My ds told his teacher that he got a "magameen from mummy's brother" !!??

He means a magazine..from mummy's friend I think!!

DimpledThighs · 12/01/2007 13:18

So far...

-WM
-DW
-swish swipe bathroom and kitchen
-sainsburys done
-fridge done
-make stuff for supper
-find library books thanks capp!
-tidy round putting bits away

Oh - thought i had done more than that! Will do suppert hings next as that is quite nice after cleaning out fridge - yuk!

When I tell people about mumsnet I get funny looks. I have got a lot of advice from here and so find myself saying 'a friend suggested...' oh but we are all friends so what's the difference that I could be a big male truck driver who likes talking housework!

tort that's crap. she shouldn't write things like that if you want them to be private - esp. from your ex. If she thinks it should be there ask her exactly what the relavance is - cannot see it myself.

ludaloo can't believe you are donig more! I am thinking it will only get trashed again at the weekend (but that's not the way to think - naughty.)

justivor is it me or does your list get longer??!

grouchyscar your list doesn't look like someone taking it easy!

capp what was the fine?

shouldbe cat poo if that was my cat - she hates me and loves dp

satin hope you and your babe are well today, horrid when it's like this and you can't get out.

Everyone else - see you later (and stop all doing more than me!)

grouchyoscar · 12/01/2007 13:38

Also done the downstairs sweeping and mopping and put some dry laundry away. Hell on earth moment..mopped the kitchen, emptied bucket down drain, return to find CAT SICK on newly mopped floor

Dimpled... It never ever looks like I'm taking it easy but if I don't do it, it won't get done. Then I have twice as much to do!

Luda...thanks, less wobbly and my legs feeling like they belong to me now. Thanks pregabalin tabs

Jelley · 12/01/2007 13:41

I've done my whole list today, and more (except for finding the kids bedroom floor - I'd rather put laundry away!)
I'll have to do it now theough

I agree re mentioning mn to few people in rl. I also find myself saying "a friend told me"....

luda Yes, it's funny being able to put a face to the name, isn't it? Watch out for your children writing stories in school. Some of the snippits in the stories my children have written are too true and Eeeek! to be included in schoolwork!

asleep · 12/01/2007 14:18

wow you are all amazing! i need to get off my bum and do some work!

Cappuccino · 12/01/2007 14:28

I'm sorry but I think you're all doing too much

get out of the bloody living room!

the great advantage I find to flylady is that you don't have to do everything at once

it was trying to do all over the house in a day that turned me in to a harpy

ludaloo · 12/01/2007 14:34

Well done all...I think we all deserve one of

these

And one of

these

satinshoes · 12/01/2007 14:37

lol ludaloo. think the cake looks scrummy. just had a cuppa.

not done anything else since i last posted except pick up soil from the floor as DD knocked a plant over.

have told DH he'll have to give me half an hour tomorrow so I can do the hoovering and mop the floors.

ludaloo · 12/01/2007 14:38

capp I think it just looks a lot when you write it down like that...it really doesn't seem too much when you are actually doing it.
It took me about 45 mins to do upstairs.
(I haven't hoovered yet though..or dusted...)

ludaloo · 12/01/2007 14:39

Have just noticed how much that cake tray would cost!!!!!!
