60% How much is that?[thick and crap at mathes emoticon]!!

batinshoes · 03/10/2006 21:26

Lol, at all the nesting wishes. You woudlnt wish for the big fat tum and lack of sleep.

tort - 60% would mean the £120 one put on at £72-75. And the £80 one at £48-50.

TortUREoiseChamber · 03/10/2006 21:34

Thanks for that.
Will try and sell them both together for £120.
Shame i don't have the boxes! Might have to look for some.

Bucketsofbloodydinosaurs · 03/10/2006 21:39

Singersgirl, what's the name of your singer then?
I've got one of those crappy canvas and wood chest of drawers in my hall full of hats, scarves, bags etc - makes such a difference knowing where things are and where to stash them doesn't it?

Skribble · 03/10/2006 22:05

Evening all, again not much flying but I managed to wash, dry and put away both kids bed linen and make up beds with fresh stuff. Stuck to my regular stuuf like swishing, shining and kept all previously cleared surfaces clear.

I really need to clean my flont door too, but I was busy supergluing 21s all day and ran out of glue so had to go into town for more, I now have 12 tubes of superglue .

I must get a new door mat for outside it is a rubber one that holds the water in and is stinking, really bad design. Must add that to my growing list.

QuootieSpookypie · 03/10/2006 22:07

finally cleaned my kitchen phew! Used about 5 things to clean my sink

Skribble · 03/10/2006 22:07

I have a metal and canvas drawer unit in my coat cupboard, drawer each for things like hats, gloves, swimming goggles and all the other oddments.

singersgirl · 03/10/2006 22:15

Wish I did have a singer, LOL. I chose the name for a Yahoo group several years ago when I was living in Singapore and it rejected all my first choices("Singers" is a sort of old-fashioned not really used abbreviation for Singapore) and I've just kind of kept it.

Neither living in Singapore nor a girl, I fear!

Oh I forgot, I found mouse poo on the settee this morning , just on the end I sit. I was imagining it sitting feet up watching the telly .

Tomorrow I will have to haul out the settee and see if it is nesting or just passing through, last night was a bit chilly so first mouse of the winter.

TortUREoiseChamber · 03/10/2006 22:30

Eww Skribble! I found 2 dead mice in ds's room when i swapped mine and their rooms round.

Skribble · 03/10/2006 22:34

You have a cheek to eww at me , mine is alive and just arrived. Didn't you smell them . I have a humane trap as DS objected to the traditional type. It hasn't worked so far so I might have to get the old fashioned ones.

TortUREoiseChamber · 03/10/2006 22:35

Well smelt something but couldn't work out what!

Piffle · 03/10/2006 22:39

Front door/porch is done - window cleaner came today
Bathrooms all gleaming today
Have also dusted the places that get overlooked in a normal month

squatchette · 04/10/2006 02:06

Wow you've all been busy well done everyone.Am i last one here?

Not done loads today as been out most of it- then left my cash card in a newsagents a bus ride away and had to go back for it after tea.

Just missed bus back to sainsburys where we normaly do our weekly shop,so went to a nearby Somerfield that normaly shuts at 9pm.Just got fruit and veg when the tannoy to close came on.They shut an hour early on that one night so we ended up dashing around like supermarket sweep trying to grab everything we needed.

Obviously forgot a few essentials so will have to go back tomorrow.Have to go into town anyway to pay some bills and get some wood glue to repair some stag drawers broken when we moved.

On plus side kitchen is clean and washing up to date.
Youngest has felt tipped on newly painted kitchen wall.Luckily painter left spare paint for touch ups, didn't expect to need it this soon though so quite pissed off about that.

We had a mouse a few months ago dds were facinated it seemed to be blind felt sorry for it, looked like a baby we fed it some popcorn then found where it got in and blocked up hole (after it left).
As for the spiders when i went to the loo first thing this morning a tarantula i kid you not sat on my knee.
I Lept up so fast i nearly peed on the floor.I am truly arachnaphobic .3yr old DD has christened it Sidney(prob after country it should've been found) last sighted in the bath yuk.
Problem is i can't kill anything even fly spray troubles me once got one of those sticky fly catchers stuck in my hair, hysterical wasn't the word.
Talking of sprays my fave for glass, tiles, metal and the bathroom is windower cleaner. It truly makes things gleam .I also discovered by accident that washing powder makes metal e.g sinks and cuttlery sparkle.Did any one try my lemon in microwave tip thats good too .

TIB sorry to hear you're in my poo explosion club at mo, had 4 of those today (not me dd again). Q-4 JessnBecs MUM what kind of carpet cleaner have you bought and is it good as i need one badly?
Also can anyone reccomend a good stain remover for carpets and one to put in washing machine I'm sick of washing things twice no matter what powder i use. TV remote found after 2 day absence in fluffy throw after being washed and tumble dryed, still working too!
Better go to bed now just watching Most Haunted so probably have nightmares.Back tomorrow mners NN.X
