Tuesday FLY - Clean your front door

I didn't do the light switches, I fell asleep feeding ds.

Well done all of you - am feeling soo inspired!!

That utility room looks great (I would kill for a utility room...)

Have dusted and swept dining room and dusted and hoovered lounge - even moved furniture rather that just hoovering around it!!

Just got in from school run, having a cuppa and a break, then do kids tea, take ds to beavers, shoot off to school for a meating about the y3 trip (two nights away from home in Feb - )
then home, our dinner, washing up, wipe down kitchen and mop, clean floor diningroom, and then collaps in front of telly in a heap!!!

Hard work this is!!

tribpot - vanish seems to get most things up from carpet.

peegee - you sound very busy....

i just mopped my floor which means i've done everything on my zone 1 list (front door,hallway, diningroom) except for clear stairs and clear understairs cupboard. Pretty good seeing as its only Tuesday!!!

so! dinner cooked, eaten and dp (!) has put all the dirty dishes straight into the d/w!!!!!

that's my flying for today. only the toys to pick up and might fold the dry washing.

i am feeling lazy now

Evening all. We have all been busy today
I think I have over done it a bit though. My arms are aching I cleaned the windows like I said I was going to but I also cleaned the frames inside and outside too I think I have done well today, worth the ME pain as its looking so clean. DS2 asked why are the windows missing?
Dc are eating tea, simple tea tonight, Chips,Burgers and B/Beans. I just had a chip butty
Just had a thought. we have de-cobwebbed and its the time of year we need them to make homes look spooky! Oh well, clean spooky home
I will get dc in the bath in a bit, then clean the kitchen, do the bed time bits and then crash
Well Done everyone!

Hi tortoise. Theres been lots of cleaning done aswell

DC are all in bed sleep. DS1 was very sleep tonight. I was cleaning after tea in the kitchen and he was falling asleep on the sofa with DS2 and DD shouting round him. He wokeup a bit when I put the hoover round the lounge though.
Got all the bits done ready for the morning. I have 2 baskets of washing to iron tomorrow and to put away. Just not up to ironing tonight.
Going to have a shower then come back on the computer.
I feel great for what I have done today

seems like most of us have had a productive day again

tomorrow i plan to clear the hotspot at the bottom of the stairs and maybe tackle the cupboard under the stairs.

plan to go for a swim and have a break too as pg taking its toll.

I only seem to have time to do anything on a monday! Rest of the week im in and out of the house.Can't find the energy to do it in the evenings!

There are babysteps you could start with but I dont know how to do link to it
I would say the best thing you could to tonight would be to clean tea things washed up or dishwasher and work top cleaned and get your sink shining. You will then come down to a clean kitchen in the morning and feel great about it.You wont have that feel of "oh dam I have last nights tea things to get cleaned and put away" before you start
Its well worth it

Hi Donbean

I've recently discovered the joys of cleaning windows, am trying to pace myself and save some for next week. You could get a lot of windows done in 2.5hrs.
Or how about a ruthless clothes sort - sell, give away, charity or cut up for cleaning rags.
And don't forget to do before and after pics if you take on a whole room, very motivating showing off a tidy clean room.

Yes but i think i will do my kitchen, cupbourds, floors, clear out top of fridge, in fridge and work surfaces then tackle the oven on Thursday...
Going to drop ds off at play school then get scruffs on.
Bought some cilit bang the other day, it is absolutley fantastic, my bathroom looks like new!

well my living room carpet is now CLEAN! MY carpet cleaner is fabbo and you should have seen the disgusting stuff that came up!!! This is deffo a once a week job now!

DH is currently messing up my kitchen by making lasagne for tomorrow night, so all i have to do is chuck it in the oven!

LEts hope he tidies up after himself or i may have to boot him lol

will get my rear end into gear tomorrow morning before bro and SIL come over for the afternoon - want them to think i am a domestic godess not a slattern that they have me down as lol

Right, sorry have been absent while you have all been so busy.

I cleaned my front door, Brasso-d the knobs and letter box (seems to have made them worse, actually), shook out doormat and swept front yard (we don't have a porch of any kind).

I spent anoteher 15 minutes in our cloakroom organising hats, scarves, suncream and swimming supplies.

I filed our papers for 15 minutes

I did 15 minutes on the company accounts.

Er, then I made a caramel pear pudding and we all ate lots of it.
