I have just done my weekly home blessing and made the 2 DDs do a 5 min room rescue in their rooms. I really can't believe how easy it was, its a revelation after all this time.

One thing I haven't mentioned yet is I had a BFP last week so am newly pregnant and just wondering how I will cope if I get morning sickness! Probably not well.

Don't know about the photo frames Ruby - I have a pile of photos in packets since I met DP (2 1/2 years ago) and want them sorting into albums. Maybe being a Flyer will help me? Before DP met me he used to put all his photos in albums with comments under them. Obviously had too much time on his hands. RL with me and my two DDs has put paid to that

Thanks Ruby. Last pg ended in mc in April this year so we are a bit tentative but I've decided to be positive. Not telling many people in RL so its good to talk on here.

domestickler · 29/08/2006 12:30

I have done my mission for today hoovering under the cushions, also wiped the leather down that is normally hidden by cushions.

I have rebooted my laundry (brought it in off the line and folded it in to piles). Will put it away next time I go up.

Off to library straight after nursery pick up today - FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE THAT I HAVE GOT THE BOOKS BACK ON TIME!!!!!

sorkycake · 29/08/2006 12:32

Ooh Congratulations!!
That's 3 so far then, I'm 17 weeks today!!
I was fine until 6 weeks then the fatigue set in. I was telling TR earlier in thread I just did my hallway everyday (when m/s set in) so if people knocked they would see order, rest of house not so good, but noone knew.
Felt energised after 14 week mark and now back to normal I'd say, just more cuppa breaks
Still haven't picked up baby clothes strewn , I'm stropping over it tbh it took an hour to sort the thought of doing it again is soul destroying.
Having lunch in a mo, will def do it after lunch.

shazronnie · 29/08/2006 12:36

Congrats skytv!! I think RR is right - 15 mins tidying then plenty of time left for throwing up!

Just eating my lunch, then will spend 15 mins cleaning sofa (got a leather one with fixed cushions so can't do today's mission really.)

Starting from scratch as DDs are 10 and 6 and exH had a vasectomy! New DP doesn't have any kids so we thought what the hell we'll give it a go! He is 40 in October and I will be 39 at Xmas. If anything goes wrong this time we might try once more but then that will be it. He is quite happy with my 2 DDs, the house is already too full without baby stuff but hey ho, other people manage it so I'm sure we can.

Cappuccino · 29/08/2006 13:40

congratulations Sky!

I have been round town to buy dd a binder for her - dare I say it - student control journal - she's only 5 ffs

there have been so many mad Americans going on about how their daughters love it that I couldn't help.... I realised it would be a much tidier solution than a sticker reward chart (and I don't have to look at it all the time )

popsy I have now designated the car one of dh's 'zones'

he will vac and tidy it out weekly on condition that I never refer to cleaning as 'home blessing' in his presence

which is an okay arrangement
