cappucino! pmsl - thikn dh might fall for a similar rouse!
i have made a 'last one out of the bed has to make ti before leaving the room rule'......
I have never had so many lie ins

JackieNo · 29/08/2006 15:11

Can I just sneak on rather shamefacedly and say that although I get the emails, I've not been doing the actual work. So I'm not really joining, just lurking. But, like Cappuccino, I've just started DD (6) off with her Student Control Journal today (like you, bought her a folder) - she's excited at the moment - it remains to be seen how long it lasts.

Cappuccino · 29/08/2006 15:19

dh and I have agreed that he is 'staff'

ie he doesn't need to know the big picture, he just needs regular orders

fine by me

shazronnie · 29/08/2006 15:40

chuckle at capuccino and staff!!

domestickler · 29/08/2006 15:52

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO shattered. Feeling really grateful that all I have to do is tea. Normally would be shattered and also surrounded by chaos to sort out.

singersgirl · 29/08/2006 16:05

Well, I am still struggling with the sink, which, no matter what I do, seems to get water marks on it. But I will perservere.

As far as I can see, I don't actually have to do much till about Day 6.

ocd · 29/08/2006 17:07

ahem
what about me

misdee · 29/08/2006 18:09

well done cod for shining your sink. make sure you shine before bed tonight.

ocd · 29/08/2006 18:13

twice a day??
gawd ill take out shares in " shiney sinks"

AmandaP · 29/08/2006 18:15

Shaz - I'm feeling utterly forgotten now!!! Just cos I've not been flying today

We've been at the beach all day again and it's been lovely. Especially lovely coming back to (relatively) tidy house and shiny sink.

Am counting down the days until the kids are back at school, and I can stop entertaining them and concentrate on the housework (I can't believe I've just written that - this cult thing must be true - I'm brainwashed! Next I'll be buying the teatowels )

franch · 29/08/2006 19:19

Ooh can I join? I'll give anything a go

misdee · 29/08/2006 19:24

i bought storage boxes yesterday which fit under dd2 very low bed.

still decluttering, 15mins each time.

i made my bed this morning i never make my bed. dd1+2 have instructions to make theirs in the morning as well. I have done the 2 loads a day (am doing 2 as have 2 washers and dryers), and the laundry pile is more like a little lump rather than a huge pile taking over my bathroom.

Cod, if you shine your sink in the evening before bed, then you wont need to shine it in the morning

mummyhill · 29/08/2006 19:32

I shine my sink every night before bed that way I only need to do it once a day and I wake up to a clean kitchen.

franch · 29/08/2006 19:48

Will I get everything I need to know from the emails? I don't have to trawl thru the website too do I? How long have you guys been doing this??

SKYTVADICT · 29/08/2006 20:13

Franch - We are all at different stages - you just need to start with baby steps and things just seem to fall into place - they have for me anyway - the idea is you just join in as and when. I jumped a few of the babysteps though as I wanted to get going.

SKYTVADICT · 29/08/2006 20:14

Oh -forgot to say Franch I am only on day 10 of babysteps!

shazronnie · 29/08/2006 20:14

Sorry AmandaP! Hope you had a lovely day at the beach!

franch - please join us! If you sign up you will start to get emails pretty soon. Just stick on the babysteps to start with, then you can add more as your routine gets established. You can look at the web page if you like, but no need to read it all - flylady gives you some pointers of what bits to read as part of babysteps.

For some of us this is the 4th week we have been flying, but lots of others have joined since. Flylady says you can jump in anytime - no need to try and catch up.

Flylady is great - it has changed my life

Quootiepie · 29/08/2006 20:24

Boo

shazronnie · 29/08/2006 20:27

QUOOTIEPIE!!!!!

How are you? Where have you been? Is your sink shiny?

Quootiepie · 29/08/2006 20:32

im good, been at MILs mostly, going to isle of wight tomorrow... and sink has remained nice and shiny Hardly been at home! I wont be FLYing 'til Sunday/Monday now... Theres loads of FLYers now!!!

mummyhill · 29/08/2006 20:49

Mummyhill waves frantically at franch shouting IF I CAN DO THIS ANYONE CAN. I have been doing it for about 1 week and am still on the baby steps which is doing me the world of good as I am getting rid of so much clutter.

shazronnie · 29/08/2006 20:53

Don't stay away so long this time Q.

ocd · 29/08/2006 20:54
