Happy Anniversary Ruby, hoe you had a good time.
I did 15 mins in my dining room, and rediscovered the carpet.
It's a shame I won't be this good when the kids are back, but I'm beginning to miss them.

viticella · 28/08/2006 22:49

I am flabbergasted. I only signed up last week. I did the one hour home blessing today WITH the 2 year old helping, and it really only took an hour. Mopped, swept, hoovered, dusted, polished and tidied and emptied bins. What have I been doing all my life. I don't know if I'm in for the long haul but it was worth it just for today!

Just thought I would share this achievement.

domestickler · 28/08/2006 23:07

jasnem, shame on you. Our Ruby aint no hoe

damewashalot · 29/08/2006 07:58

Morning!
Right I'm off for a shower, please shout at me if I haven't at least done the bathroom and dishwasher when I get back. I would say encourage gently but I just don't listen could be where my boys get it from

domestickler · 29/08/2006 08:33

Morning FLYers

Have got up, made bed, swished and swiped, unloaded dishwasher and put a load of laundry in.

Todays mission is to pull cushions off sofa and chairs, get rid of any crap and hoover.

Quite looking forward to this one, I very very rarely do this so will be nice for it to be clean!

damewashalot · 29/08/2006 08:53

Bathroom done and some washing sorted ready to go on but bfed baby didn't feel like waiting to eat so I'm back for a bit.

Flamesparrow · 29/08/2006 09:12

I loaded the washing machine before bed, planned on DH turning it on before work, so it'd all be ready to hang before I went out... forgot to tell him

Bed made, not dressed yet cos feeding 6 month old & clothes are not a bright mix!!!

Lounge is already looking better, just for the 15 mins and the toy boxes. Still need to mop, but that will be tomorrow cos I'm out all day & evening.

Hallyway clear, and about to do my 15 mins in lounge.

Olipop · 29/08/2006 09:16

I think I would like to join the cult please if I may!!!! This kind of thing is just up my street (you are talking to the woman who has a cleaning rota printed out and stuck to the inside of a cupboard!!!). I'm going to brave it and try to read through the website..don't think I'll sign up for the emails though - is it right that you can just read them all on the homepage?

damewashalot · 29/08/2006 09:21

Flame, well done you you are putting me to shame!

deegward · 29/08/2006 09:23

Up, dressed, shoes on , emptied dishwasher, sink shiny. Going to have work out now with pt then will do under cushions in living room.

Blessed house yesterday, feeling good about this!

damewashalot · 29/08/2006 09:25

BTW what's this loving movement thing it keeps telling me to do for????

SKYTVADICT · 29/08/2006 09:44

Good morning, I am up and dressed (not to shoes) have a shiny sink and quite a tidy lounge.

Went to sea side for the day yesterday and it was great to come home to a shiny sink.

We are ahead of the game on the lounge as DD1 hoovered under the settee cushions on saturday (for payment!)

I missed the weekly home blessing yesterday so think I may do it this morning!

SKYTVADICT · 29/08/2006 09:45

Forgot to say also got a load in washer.

I am now just over one week into flylady and things are definitely coming together. Haven't started a control journal yet though.

Cappuccino · 29/08/2006 10:11

since dd2 decided to get us all up at 6 I thought I'd just get the damn home blessing out the way since I didn't do it yesterday

now I have spent some useful time (when I should have been working ) going through a Babysteps Control Journal guide that I downloaded from the site; I have been Building My Weekly Plan and am bizarrely proud of it, I have to say!

Have any of you got your dh's involved? We have come to an Agreement which I honestly believe is the best one we've had in 14 years together

sorkycake · 29/08/2006 10:28

Up (reluctantly) dressed with shoes! Swish-wipe, beds aired & made, washing hanging out and another load in
Have just spent the last hour sorting baby clothes into age piles to store for the newbie only to find my 2.8 yo has scattered them across the living room floor.
I'm washing the sofa covers and hoovering base today. Ooh and bought 2 lovely boxes to keep DVD's in, have sorted them too. Now having a cuppa.

shazronnie · 29/08/2006 10:35

Morning!
I am dressed to shoes; hair and face fixed.
I have made the beds, swished and swiped, put the laundry in, blessed the house because i didn't do it yesterday... wow! I have done loads!

I can't believe i've stuck to it for so long - Thank you Flylady, and thanks also to you lot!

WElcome Olipop, and Viticella - the home blessing is great, and gets easier every week! A timer really helps too.

damewashalot · 29/08/2006 10:42

Kitchen done, washing hung out/more in baby grumpy so time for a milky snuggle I think

mummyhill · 29/08/2006 11:47

Sink is shiny, washing is in machine, diswasher is doing it's bit and I have done half the living room. Naughty me still not fdressed yet and neither are the kids!!! going to have a cuppa and then finish the living room.

PandaG · 29/08/2006 11:51

Well, thanks to another thread I have signed up! Am off to shine the sink for day 1. What is this house blessing - a general clean round on Mondays? Will I get told to do it soon?!

JessaJam · 29/08/2006 11:51

sink shiny. I'm dressed ( as I'm at work).

Have to go home any minute as ds but ill and so can't go to nursery this afternoon. So will be "working at home" as well as doing 15 mins in living room and sofa-diving. Plus a load of washing.
And have 15 mins of ironing to do tonight to try to avoid the marathon session I did last night recurring...

Cappuccino · 29/08/2006 11:53

Panda guess what - you'll be asked to do it on Monday

LemonTart · 29/08/2006 11:55

ok count me in.
Dressed (finally ) and just put a load of washing in the machine.
Going to whiz round my morning routine and then look at the zone thing. I am determined not to get perfectionist, spend three hours in the girls room and then leave the rest of the house as a bomb site. I WILL start with my sink and see how I get on.
Don?t wear shoes either!

damewashalot · 29/08/2006 11:57

I couldn't catch up on my ironing in one night need to do 2 hrs anight for a week i think, but..... I have a shiny sink so all is well with the world

PandaG · 29/08/2006 12:02

Thanks cappuchino Was really wondering whether I get to do it on top of the 31 babystep introduction thingies. Sure I'll soon find out!

damewashalot · 29/08/2006 12:10

You get all of the emails from the start just ignore the ones you are not ready for while on baby steps
