well I am a superhero
I took both dds swimming for the first time ever on my own; though it did cost me £26
I packed all the costumes up before I went and then right at the last minute dd2 got herself into some predicament so I went and saved her and then got them all in the car
got them to the pool. Through the hotel bar, in the little access lift, through the restaurant, out the fire doors, round the back of the building, up and down a ramp, through the gym fire doors; left dd1 in her walking frame while I went up the stairs to collect towels from reception, got them all into the changing room and then discovered I'd left my swimming costume at home
could not be bothered going through it all again (especially since I had managed to bag a disabled space misdee ) so I went to the gym shop and bought one; left the dds with some old ladies. Very smart it is too, and it fits me considerably better than the one I bought for my mate's hen weekend in 1998
managed to take both of them swimming without either one of them drowning! dd1 did not fall into the pool in a tangle of wetsuit and metal! dd2 did not scream throughout the whole sorry process!
now I am completely motivationless after such a massive personal achievement and the idea of decluttering for 15 minutes fills me with disinterest. Far more attractive-sounding is sitting down with a bottle of San Miguel and some tortilla chips and watching a video
what do you all think?
