thanks jasnem but you clear it and then it take s a while to happen again rigjht? i CAN'T SEEM TO GET IT CLEARED TO BEGIN WITH THEY MAKE QUICKER THAN i CAN GET MY LAZY SELF HATING ASS INTO GEAR

shit sorry about the caps

domestickler · 27/08/2006 11:28

trinity, sounds cheesy as f*ck i know but i really hate to hear you being self loathing its awful and you dont deserve it.

You have two kiddies and a bean inside you. your making a human being FGS!! that alone is a brilliant achievment.

So you house is a mess? so you cant be bothered (due to reasons above) to do much about it? SO WHAT

which one thing is really bothering you the most today - can I coach you through it and help you get it done in babysteps? Would that help?

laneydaye · 27/08/2006 11:31

hello everyone...... will someone pls come and sort out my ds bedroom? pls pls pretty pls.........thought not.

i just cant get motivated late night at work feel tired might just have to shake myself and go for it.........

tortoise · 27/08/2006 12:30

Helloooo FLYers.

tr i feel so sad ready your posts.
None of this tidying will happen over night. My front room looks like a pit.The girls have tipped out nearly all the toys.Might of helped if i'd got off my lazy ass last night and tidied some before they doubled the mess this morning!
You have good reason to not feel upto doing the tidying.
We are all here because we are crap at keeping our houses tidy! We are here to support each other.

trinityrhino · 27/08/2006 13:00

well, I kicked myself after readfin my posts and I picked up the toys and put them in the playpen( really they need sorting and ptting in the cupboard for teeny bean or putting in the others rooms)

I've collected alkl the washing(only dumpe it in the kitchen though)

I've picked up all cutlery and dishes from front room, (they are just waiting on the side though)

it's astart i guess but everywhere \i turn there are things that I'm not sure where they should live or how to get them out the way of dd2 so they don't get continually pulled out

trinityrhino · 27/08/2006 13:02

you could feed a family of 10 on the drap on my frontroom floor

if you wanted to feed them old bits of crips, biscuits, chips and god knows what else

need to get the hoover downstairs

tortoise · 27/08/2006 13:18

Well done tr.Thats a positive start.
Remember,one job at a time.
You have got the clothes now they need to be sorted for washing.
After that the dishes can be put in dish washer.
I hope you are not planning to carry the hoover down the stairs??

Gold star for you.

As for me,the rooms still a tip but i have added 4 items to ebay!

trinityrhino · 27/08/2006 13:19

thanks tortoise

going to put the washer on now

I will wear my star with pride

tortoise · 27/08/2006 14:06

Thats 9 more items added to Ebay! 22 in all.
Now i better pick these toys up!

tortoise · 27/08/2006 15:44

trinityhino - what about using paper plates and cups and things for a week to get on top of the dishes without adding more?

just little things to help you feel like your winning xxx

Jasnem · 27/08/2006 16:33

tr. No. I've never had it really clean. I finish one room, then before I've done the next, the first one is trashed again.
I'm feeling positive now, as the dds are away, and dp has been en tertaining the baby, so I've had nothing else to do.When I was pg with no 3 I fell asleep if I had a spare 1/2 hour. Much more important.

tortoise · 27/08/2006 16:58

Ruby A little something for you!
Well done on all your hard work packing decs away and donating teddies to charity(for some other poor mum to be hastled over by her dc!!!)

Where are all the FLYers today? Hpe all having a good day.

I did a big pile of ironing earlier. Now have 2 huge piles of washing to put away!My least fav job!

AmandaP · 27/08/2006 21:10

Hello all - I didn't realise that I was missing gold stars while I was out! I wouldn't have gone out if I'd known....

Still, I haven't done enough to earn a gold star (not even a dusty-tarnished-through-lack-of-cleaning-silver one). This weekend has been lots of fun - all day yesterday on the beach, all day today fiddling about with the kids at home, making strawberry jam and picking blackberries. But b*gger all house-work (although actually I did make the bed and do swish & swipe so not a total write-off then!)

Here's to a better day tomorrow!

tortoise · 27/08/2006 21:12

Better than nothing!

CONFESSION....

Ive been making my bed everyday since i did my room.

tortoise · 27/08/2006 22:24

Any FLYers going any where exciting for bank holiday monday?

JessaJam · 27/08/2006 22:41

Just checking in to report that: I am on day 3 of babysteps and my sink is still shiny (and dh is even wiping down after he uses it too!) I am not getting dressed down to doing my shoes up as soon as my feet hit the bedroom floor because my feet hit the bedroom floor because ds starts crying...but I am getting dressed properly as soon as he is sorted and I have read through all those FLY emails she sends for 2 minutes this evening.

FWIW I think her writing is an assault on the english language but if it helps get my house in some sort of order I will grit my teeth and bear it!
