Morning ladies.

I seem to have totally off the rails. My sink is still clean but thats about it.

at Tortoises's lovely tidy bedroom.

TR - my hoover has done on it too, don't worry

I think I'm going to give up for this week and start again on Monday.

That's it. I'm off to shine my sink and make waffles for the family.`

And start again Monday.

zaphod; keep going and the family will eventually notice!! My DH is afraid to run the tap in case he gets my shiny sink wet!! And very slowly he is making less mess. I suppose this is because he can see the mess he has made, rather than it blending into the mess already there.

And you have to nag a bit too

After all, I need Flylady to nag me, so i can't expect DH to become tidy of his own accord!

I got up (in secret after a lie in) and got 15 mins done in my bedroom before they found me. DH said that he is proud of me (which sounds slightly patronising, but I knew what he meant), and that he didn't expect the sink to stay shiney past day 2... on day 5 now .

I have needed this kick for so long now.

Had a fun family day but now the house is a tip!!
I got a well done,good girl from ds1 when he say my room.He also said a very sad comment today about what xp was doing.Its never going to go away.

Anyway,Couldn't be bothered to cook tea for me and girls after boys went back to their dads so we walked to the chinese and chip shop.
Makes me laugh,can't be bothered to cook but can walk nearly 2 miles in all just for chips!!

They had a full bath!! Then discovered down the back of the bath so make a big spash!Floor soaked as usual.

Its great having 4.The boys love looking after the girls.If im busy DS1 will even take DD2 for a wee!

I've been keeping my sink shiny. An achievement in itself, and am spending the weekend decluttering. I've found my bedroom floor, and filled my wheely bin, plus a bag of stuff for the charity shop. I intended to start on the bathroom once ds was in bed, butI've fused the upstairs lights, and dp says it's not safe for me to change the fuse in our dodgy old fuse box.

When do you start getting emails? I think I signed up on the link at the bottom of this thread, (on Thursday) but I've heard nothing.

I went in my room just now and did a little jig in the space!

I knew what you meant about sliding down the back of the bath. I remember doing it with my brother! My dds haven't worked it out yet...

It's very satisfying when you can see a big improvement, isn't it.

Im adding more to ebay now which if they sell,will clear some unwanted stuff!

if anything my house has got worse, I think I need to be coommited to a n institute there is obviously something serioulsly mentally wrong with me

Bits of mine look worse, too. I've been trying to clear hotspots (does anyone else have 5 or 6 in each room) and not quite got it together properly.

The shiny sink is making my whole houe look bettwer though, so maybe just take a step back and keep up the baby steps?

tr don't put yourself down. If we didn't all have the same problems, none of us would be here...I've looked at your pics and the dds room looks like yours after I've spent 1/2 a day trying to clear a path through it.
