I keep forgetting to tell of my major improvement!

For the last week ive been drinking water during the day.I have one glass of squash in the morning and one last thing at night.Before this I was drinking it all day.
Im amazed at myself.

Evening gals! Sorry but have been out all day (nothing exciting unfortunately!) and have returned to two dogs who have obviously eaten something that hasn't agreed with them, both of them emptying various parts of their anatomies all over the dining room and kitchen floors. Lovely.

So my date night is spent ...... on hands and knees (steady) cleaning (again) while husband stomps around in a major strop, cursing animals, his work, my breakdown, bad drivers, the inland revenue, the weather, you name it he's cursing it.

Oh what it is to have been married for 18 years

Still we're off to the beach tomorrow (assuming we are talking to each other) so life should brighten a little. Now I just have to go and shine sink and then retire to bed with the papers and a cup of tea I think!

Night all, sleep well (especially Tortoise in those lovely crispy clean sheets! What dvd are you watching btw?)

I don't know what dvd to watch yet.My normal would be ghost or dirty dancing.

Have now sold my 4th item on ebay.YAY!

I would go for Ghost - I just love it, and it always makes my cry but in a kind of good-to-get-it-out way!!!!

Well done with your ebay selling - I have a cupboard of clothes to sell but just haven't done it yet. I'll need to add maybe one item per day or something, and perhaps the pile will go down!

We have just done the master bedroom zone and its the living room starting monday.
Saturdays are family days!

No AB I do everyday as well, I meant not do actual cleaning on a Saturday just a "tickle" to keep it tidy, as its meant to be family day!!

I hoover every day too.
Think saturdays just do the basic clean round.

My main aim has been to de-clutter things that i really dont need!
Am amazed at myself keeping the kitchen tidy since we started 3 weeks ago!And the bathroom.

Aww tr. Don't feel shit. Your starting with small steps and one day you will be able to FLY through the cleaning because it will be just a quick wipe over thats needed.

Allie; if your sink won't shine you just have to keep it spotlessly clean and dry!

Hoover everyday? PAH! not me! twice a week max!

Fly lady works for me - I have had a clean kitchen for 3 weeks, a clean bathroom for 2 weeks, and a clean bedroom for one week!

Hello all. I started the Flylady way, a few days ago. I'm finding it a bit disheartening though, as this morining I came downstairs, and the sink was all messy, and the counters too. THis is what happens when I have an early night. The problem is that nothing ever stays done, with 7 of us in the house.

Also, I find it easy to get sidetracked. I go to put laundry away, and notice that ds has his toys all over the floor, so start on that, forgetting completely about the rest of the laundry.
