damewashalot · 25/08/2006 14:11

But I have, tidied up after lunch, hung more washing out and changed the boys beds if I did this much every day I wouldn't liver in a tip

damewashalot · 25/08/2006 14:14

I sort out and end up with a pile of stuff I don't know where to put, which gets bigger and sits there until next time I sort when it gets bigger. That's basicly what has happened to my little room, it's a dumping ground for stuff with no home and whenI tidy because someones coming I fling stuff in there, used to shut the door but can't now as stuff in the way

damewashalot · 25/08/2006 14:16

Should not type whilst bfeeding, I don't do well

shazronnie · 25/08/2006 14:37

Flamey - the next zone is the living room, but only until 31st August, then there will be a new zone plan for September.

Tort - you could stand rolls of paper at the back of a wardrobe, although i admit mine is usually stuffed in the space between the bookcase and the wall!

Future solution - only have 1 roll at a time in the house!

Ive put them between the draws and the wall!!
Its looking better now.
Guess what I found in a box??

tortoise · 25/08/2006 15:48

Flamey · 25/08/2006 16:06

Living room is one of our better rooms, so I can cope with just the 4 days better

Flamey · 25/08/2006 16:08

Oooh - I like this

Friday is our Date night! We always go bowling!
Are you planning anything special for your Sweet Darling? If you cringe at the thought of this, then it is time you started doing it every week. If you don't, then you are going to let your relationship fade. It doesn't take much to show them that you think they are special. If you don't have a Sweet Darling, then do something special for yourself. Rent a movie, listen to great music, dinner with a friend, or a walk in the park.

If Fridays don't work for you, pick another night and put it on your calendar right now. You will be glad you did

tortoise · 25/08/2006 17:49

Anyone else got something special planned for date night?
I might watch a dvd in bed later.

domestickler · 25/08/2006 17:59

Im going out on the p*ss with my best friend. My sweetie is on night shift haha

gothicmama · 25/08/2006 18:01

that sounds good tort - I'm still on babysteps as it is taking ages to get the house sorted enough to focus on a zone (actually it's learning new habits and maintainingthem before tackiling anything bigger

tortoise · 25/08/2006 18:01

Oh dome lucky you! Hope you have a great night.

Flamey · 25/08/2006 19:25

DH has just told me that the kitchen is looking really nice

Our house is always a state, and he tends not to see the mess anymore (he is the one who causes 60% of it), so the fact that he has noticed means a lot.

Tried suggesting a dvd... got a grunt. Bought wine though, so I might have a date by myself.

tortoise · 25/08/2006 19:37

Glad your hard work is being noticed flamey!

My after pics of bedroom are ready to be seen.
here

shazronnie · 25/08/2006 20:15

Wow Tort! that floor is fabulous! but not as fabulous as the ceiling!!!

Just vacuumed the front room cos MIL visiting tomorrow, but the great thing is I have nothing else I desperately feel I need to do. Normally once kids are in bed i am running round trying to do a whole days tidying.

My date night - MN (DH working late.)

tortoise · 25/08/2006 20:22

Thank you.
Shame the front room isn't so good!
Think i better tidy it.
Have added more bits on ebay.
