New thread for a new zone, morning all

lets all do profiles

I have been married 6 years, I have 2 dd's, one is 6 and the other is 16 months and a dd or ds on the way!
I have always been domestically challenged and I think Flylady has the answer.
I have known about flylady for about 2 years but never really got going, I hope that doing it together will change that.
Good Luck to all on a fresh zone

morning guys, I am really going to try and start fluttering today, I definitely just crawled through yesterday and now the kitchen is a mess!

About to put my load a day on, and hopefully will have a more productive day today!

Tomorrow is day 15 for alot of us; that's D day - we have to start making the bed!!!

Also need to do housework today as I had my Family Fun Days Thursady and yesterday with DH off work.

Morning flyers! I'm glad you're feeling okay QP - sometimes some sleep and a bit of distance (both time and miles) can help - oh, and the joy of a shiny sink of course!!

Have shined sink, swished and swipe (including startling the dh who was in the bath at the time), put load in machine, and now time to start building the Ikea stuff that I brought back with me - oh deep deep joy

Take it easy QP, don't stress too much about things - it's hard not over analysing. You sound like a brilliant partner and mum, just carry on doing your best in tough times, and you will get through this.

(sorry - not sure if this makes sense! ...... need more coffee......)

Morning....

I have been busy little FLYbaby today.

Have cleared out my cupboard at the top of the stairs. Got rid of all old toiletries, sorted out towels and piled them neatly and had a big sort out of bedding sorting them into diff piles fo different people and stored them in the wardrobe of the room they belong in. Hoping it should make the weekly linen change easier.

I have decided to have a mammoth laundry day today. I have sorted out all of our dirty laundry and dumped it at the top of the stairs, Im goign to keep washing until its done.

Also hoping to get rid of a good bit of clothes as my laundry routine is crap because I just have too much stuff and it never gets put away.

Ive not done any FLYing yet today.Went down town before getting stuck on mn!!

Off to do the bedroom in a minute.

Can't have a family fun day when the kids are all at their dads.Well girls will be back in under 3 hours now!

Oh does it? It was my extra room on top of the bathroom zone.
It won't be done that quick and i still have the boys room which really needs a tidy up!
I need some strorage for bed linen.Any ideas? No cupboards,wardrobes or anything.Im getting stressed with no storage space!

Ive done loads of housework BUT as far as Flylady says what should we be doing every day at this stage?

Put a bit in the loft but just have no where to put anything! Grrr!
Thundering now so had to get the washing in.Least its dry.

So far ladies we should be doing.....

~ getting up and dressed etc.
~ reading 2 mins of reminders (including those post-it notes!!!)
~ changing our negative voices and FLYing!!

Easy so far eh??!!!

~ Putting out HotSpots for 2 minutes am and pm

~ One 5 minute room rescue

~ 15 minutes of decluttering each day

~laying out clothes at night time

~ shining that sink!!!!!

Wow! 2 weeks already! Some areas in the house are looking much better and staying mainly tidy.

I still don't put clothes out the night before! Well I will be monday night before court.Need to iron my trousers too!

Ive just done a quick floor tidy and hoover before the girls get back and destroy it again!!

That fortnight has flown by.

My DH asked me exactly what I was cleaning the sink with yesterday as it looked like new!

I had to run off and get my towels in!

Aren't we domesticated???!!!

I haven't done much FLYing today as I've felt ill.

DH is due home soon so I thought I'd better make a bit of an effort.....15 minutes and it looks as if I've spent all day tidying the kitchen table etc!!!
FLYlady really does rock!!!

Now off to make the bed - not quite even managed to make that yet so must go and do it!!!)

hello ladies......i have seen this thread a few times, thought what the hell are fly babies?? Well curiosity has got the better of me, and I have just joined the FLY ladys site, group, and now this threadAll i can say is.......
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wonder how long this lady has been going? she sounds just what i need! I am going to shine my sink right now!!! i havent read all the thread, FAR TOO LONG!! but i am a hardworker, keen to learn all the flying tips and love it when my cleaning is done and the house smells of "clean" and bleach....At last i have found somewhere to release my inner clean freak!

I laughed (and was then horrified) yesterday!

I sneezed so hard that I joked to DH that I'd wet myself....(I am very proud of my pelvic floor muscles by the way!!)

Laughed about the pretend leakage and then...to my great horror....sneezed again whilst laughing and had to do a desperate loo dash!!!

Was mortified and, needless to say, did not inform DH!!!!!!!!
