MD just think about the lovely plasticy taste, the feel of the artifical bits of veg as they slide down your throat

EmmyLou · 10/06/2006 21:28

eh? you answered my question before i'd asked it. Are you moongod Shock

moondog · 10/06/2006 21:29

I think I ate a Pot Noodle in 1982 when I was 15.

Still recovering.

moondog · 10/06/2006 21:30

lol
Just realised that I should have stipulated amount.Bitter marmalade best-Frank Coopers' I like.

WelshBoris · 10/06/2006 21:31

I think I prefer moongod actually

My parents are fantastic, amazing couldnt survive without them etc but they have an awful attitude towards food so I have tasted many a ready meal and pot noodle

gone are those days now

EmmyLou · 10/06/2006 21:33

Pot Noodle IS recycled vomit

EmmyLou · 10/06/2006 21:35

Hope marmalade made by a good lady of Emmylou-ville who is trying to raise money for new village Hall with said preserves will do?

She does a lovely beetroot pickle too mmmmm

drosophila · 10/06/2006 21:39

your dh is an adult and he can and will eat crap if he wants to. I suspect you are not going to change that. Buy the healthier stuff on top of the junk he won't give up and just make sure he eats it. I have a DS with severe food allergies and as a consequence he is also a very fussy eater so I do sympathise. DS is allowed choc and the like but only after he has a meal with carbs veg and protein. My attitude is get the healthy stuff in as much as possible but no food is forbidden.

Yes Em,sounds great.
DG,I do need to get into jam esp. as my (relatively) new house has a garden full of plums and damsons.
Any good recipe recommendations?

I'll teach yuo to quilt and patchwork if you allow me to enter through the hallowed portals of the Institute for Preserves and Jams.

Sal,Jenk has had loads of advice.
Are you too pissed to read the thread? Grin

lol at Sal's gay assumption that she can throw in a few ideas but everyone else can do dirty work of providing recipes.

Had another look to freak meself out.
Wtf is a 'frubes pouch'??
Is it one of those things they sell catfood in?

And while I'm on the subject, the freakiest thing I've seen all year is how theyt advertise catfood as if it for humans,on silver platters with bits of parsley and people actually sniffing it!!

Shock

"Plum pie in the sun..."

Plum jam is my favourite.

But "I do need to get into jam" did make me titter Grin
