I put Toddler in his waterproof jumpsuit and wellies to go do the wash. He kept saying "yes, jump puddles" when I asked him if he wanted to go play in the rain/puddles but as soon as I put his boots on he refused to move/walk.

I don't feel well so today will be a slow and gentle day.

Well, it's my Moms b'day today and she is coming up to see us and take us to the soft play!!! Yay!!! I'm just glad to get out of the house. It's a £4 bus trip and another £3 to get in as well as a good walk each side so we just don't go. I would normally have booted and suited up yesterday but Muddles has this bronchilitis and I don't want to take her outside any more than I have to. The craft fair tomorrow in Derby is a completly different matter!

Overslept (again) Rather a slow start this morning but not feeling too bad now I have got going!

Hi folks!
I have decided on a name change. It's just that using my real name on here feels like muddling up my professional profile and my sometimes disorganised real life profile. So - Educating - because that's what I do (sometimes) and -arti- short for artisan because I like making things!

Last night I didn't make it to music practice in the end. I got a bit sidetracked and by the time I was going to set out, I realised it was so late that it wasn't going to be worth it!

However, inspired by the organisation/storage porn thread, I re-organised a cupboard in my kitchen, and created an "errand centre". Actually I feel particularly smug pleased about this since ages ago I had adapted a wooden IKEA paper storage tray by putting in dividers and painting/stencilling it. It had originally been for another no-longer-needed purpose and had been sitting in a cupboard ever since! It makes a great "errand centre" for organising recipe books, shopping list and pens (not sure what the WD40 pen is doing in there but never mind!).

Then I spent rather too long sorting out my ribbon tin. I have a tin storing loads of bits of ribbons I sometimes use for craft projects. I had bought some cheap wooden clothes pegs from a pound shop and wound ribbon round each one, using the peggy grippy bit to hold the end.

Flat is still a bit disorganised, but my ribbon tin looks wonderful and I feel stupidly satisfied at this small area of order!

I was lying in a hot bath with my eyes shut chatting to dd who was warming herself up on the heated floor. I wish I was still there actually. I might go back tonight

I am trying to drink less as I have had a sinus headache for about 6 weeks now and am beginning to have trouble sleeping. I need less caffeine, even though my body pretends it wants more.

Just eating heathy(ish) lunch (pancetta omlette and potato wedges followed by an apple), so that's another one off my to do list!
