It would be too big for dd and her friends and I am not sure my friends would wear it either. Hmm Maybe they would though, I have no idea. I might take it to book group and see if anyone wants it, although I might see if my dmum wants it first. I don't want to put people in an awkward situation of not wanting but not wanting to offend iykwim.

I wonder if these things sell on ebay? Grin

carrotsandcelery · 19/04/2012 16:51

bessie I am firmly in your camp - if I don't love it, want it, need it etc then out it has to go. It's brutal but it does make me happier.

carrotsandcelery · 19/04/2012 16:52

I think we have had this debate before but how many sets of sheets do I keep now I have decluttered the airing cupboard?

And how many old towels do I need? (bearing in mind 2 dogs)?

I put it to the jury! Grin

Scout19075 · 19/04/2012 17:04

I'm so tired. I need a nap. Honestly I do. Give me strength to deal with a very toddlerly toddler.

Will be back to say hello properly but wanted to say hi while I have 43.2 seconds free.

bessie26 · 19/04/2012 17:36

carrots I have 3 sets of bedding for each of the DDs, and two for us.

I have no idea about the towels though, 2 each? (including dogs)

scout why so tired? (is the toddler being VERY toddlerly?) GO TO BED EARLY TONIGHT!

liveinazoo · 19/04/2012 18:25

3 sets bedding per child
2sets for mine
4 towels each-
id go 2 bath sheets per dog?

CatsSleepAnywhere · 19/04/2012 18:35

What's this I hear about lightweights? Zoo Wink

I have just joined the "shouty mum's" thread Blush

CatsSleepAnywhere · 19/04/2012 18:42

I have no idea how many sets of bedding I have --probably needs to be sorted-- and I don't know how many towels we have either Blush.

Can you tell I live in organised chaos!!

Scout19075 · 19/04/2012 19:26

Yes, I think I'm going to finish this episode of my American program, due to finish around 8:15-ish, and go to bed. MrScout can microwave his dinner.

carrotsandcelery · 19/04/2012 23:12

Are you ok Scout? Can we help? Do you want to offload? ((((hugs))))

CatsSleepAnywhere · 20/04/2012 05:49

Morning all, DD slept all night till 5.00am then had a whinge and then went back to sleep. I slept till 4.00am and got up cause DH was snoring Hmm.

Scout hope you are o.k. you seem to have had a lot going on lately. It can be very hard trying to do anything with a toddler especially if you are tired.

Hope everyone who went out in the evening had a nice time.

carrotsandcelery · 20/04/2012 08:21

Morning everyone!

Scout19075 · 20/04/2012 09:25

We're going out for the morning (soft play with big friends -- yay!) but will be back around lunchtime if anyone's free for some buddying then?

carrotsandcelery · 20/04/2012 09:31

Have fun Scout. I will be around until about 3 on and off.

I was just about the walk the dogs and the heavens opened. It is not just rain, it is M&S rain... coming down in buckets and it's so dark it is like night time.

I have postponed and made a Brew now I have milk and some breakfast.

Today I have learned it is a bad idea to go to the shop when you haven't had a Brew or any breakfast as you want everything in it and make some poor choices.

Choc digestive anyone?

carrotsandcelery · 20/04/2012 10:46

All by myself... don't want to be... all by myself...

CatsSleepAnywhere · 20/04/2012 11:09

Hello carrots, I'm here for a little while.

We have just done our "big" shop at ALDI and it only cost £22.00 Grin
Normally we would spend around £70.00 for a big shop at the supermarket so we are saving bucket loads of money. Grin
There are a few things we can't get at ALDI so will have to get them at another shop.

Carrots What is M&S rain?

carrotsandcelery · 20/04/2012 11:20

M&S rain is the very best, poshest, most indulgent rain. ie really, really heavy rain!

Aldi has saved us a fortune too. Feeding the 9 small furry vegetarian animals we have alone could cost a fortune but Aldi makes a massive difference. Our only problem is that it is a 20 - 25 min drive to our nearest so it is not always sensible.

I tend to go to Aldi, Costco and Tesco when I go and start with Aldi, then get what I couldn't in Costco and what I couldn't get there in Tesco. It takes a bit longer but saves us cash.

I am so glad you have popped back in. I have been lonely Sad

CatsSleepAnywhere · 20/04/2012 11:25

I will be off out again in a mo but will probably return on here around 1.00.

Not sure where everyone is today.

carrotsandcelery · 20/04/2012 11:35

Maybe feeling really woozy and sleepy if they were out last night. Scout is out for the morning. Where is zoo though? I had connection problems yesterday so she may have the same today.

Scout19075 · 20/04/2012 13:02

I'm back. We went to soft play with Toddler's big kid friends (school-age friends from the HE group who Toddler just adores and they seem to love him, too).

We got in the house just in time -- I was taking of Toddler's shoes in his room to put him for his rest/nap and he started pointing at the window saying "wet, wet!" and it was bucketing down. It was dry when we came in the house.

carrotsandcelery · 20/04/2012 13:12

Hi Scout! I am glad you had a nice morning out. Some adult company, letting TS run off some steam and a change of scene are all good for the soul. Smile I hope you have a good afternoon.

Dd has the stables this afternoon so I am hoping the rain clears up and stays away for her.

I also think I will have to face the long shopping list I have for her tonight. It scares me when I think how much is on it. I think we will just prioritise it and do a bit of it every month.

I need a boot or pointy stick to make me go and put tonight's meal in the slow cooker. The postie arrived with some of the crafting materials I had ordered and I have been having a go at another bracelet to see if I can do it without a teacher here. I am doing ok with the weaving but the test will be the finishing. Eeek!

I have also just realised I haven't had lunch yet Hmm Clearly the beading had me more absorbed than the cleaning does Grin
