Zoo - I don't think you upset the mum at school pick up. She was upset about her dad. You spotted that she wasn't seeming so good and asked about it. This sounds like being a sensitive friend to me!

I want a cat. A black one. When my PsiL kitten-cat (the cats were 1 year old when the one got pregnant) was pregnant I was rallying for one of the kittens but then I found out I was pregnant and wasn't sure I wanted a manic new kitten with a new baby. Toddler, however, has grown up with the kittens (they kept two of the four of the litter) and we have pictures of Toddler, the day he came home from the hospital (we stayed at the in-laws so they could help since MrScout didn't take his paternity right away and I had a section due to my heart & the blood issues), meeting the two kitten-cats and the four new kittens. People thought we were nuts letting them meet but we wanted everyone (Toddler and the cats) to know that each other were friends, not foes, and to get along. And they do. Toddler adores the cats and the cats tolerate, if not love, him. He doesn't hit them or pull their tales and he rarely chases them -- when he does it's because the excitement of seeing them overwhelms his little body and he can't keep it inside. It really is sweet.

I am trying sooooo hard to be good. I must have lost some weight when I was ill last week (we don't have any scales, & have no idea what I weigh, so can't find out!), so must keep it off!
